This property is located in the beautiful Somerset region of Queensland. The camping area is mowed and maintained for easy access for setting up the tent, parking an RV or just throwing a swag on the ground , with views to Somerset Dam. A purpose built fire pit next to a rustic entertaining area with uninterrupted views to the Lake. At night the bar lights up to add to the ambiance of the bar and fire pit area . Stay one night or a couple and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Red claw pots available to use in Somerset Dam via access from the property through the owner on request. Plenty of animals, domestic and wild. The property is a working cattle station with livestock grazing in the adjoining paddocks. Wildlife ie: deer, koala's, kangaroos , possums and a multitude of bird life. For those travelling in large groups, please contact us to discuss your requirements. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure that your camping experience is unforgetable.

Firepit area with views to the lake
Exceeded expectations! The fire pit site was right next to the rustic bar/kitchen area with plenty of seating. Clean bathroom with hot shower! Short drive (or easy walk) to the lake for swimming. There was another group on site, but they are far enough away that you still feel like you have privacy! The fairy lights around the camp just added to the experience as well! Thanks for having us! We’re already planning our next trip!

Firepit area with views to the lake
The site has a pretty view, the rustic bar and firepit are fantastic and the bathroom is super clean and nice. The area by the lakes is also nice and we had good interactions with the owners. BUT the photos do not show that you camp basically 20m from the caretakers house - which is occupied. There's also a bunch of shipping containers 80m away. The second campsite is also only 80m away. I suggest you factor this into your decision to book - it put some of the people in our group off when we are paying to stay somewhere we thought we had to ourselves - when we didn't. For others, it may not be an issue.

Perfect weekend with sunset swims
My friends and I had such a lovely time at Annette’s camp. The site is in a beautiful spot with an amazing view and pleasant facilities. The sunsets were stunning and having a private access to the dam was super convenient. The boys enjoyed their dip. Overall a great weekend and would love to go back sometime soon. Highly recommend!

Open grassy space with Lake views
We had a great trip and Annette has an amazing property, we were able to pop down to the water and have a swim during the day, all in all it was an amazing trip, thank you !
