Kenilworth Rural Camping is a quiet, family friendly private camping area in the heart of Kenilworth, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Adjacent to the Charles Street Mary River parklands, this 5 acre block has beautiful drive through, flat grassy sites. Shady or open spaces with a seasonal water hole on the property, 150mtrs from the Mary River, through the park or a 5 minute walk to town (600mtrs to the pub!). We have 5 camping sites, each suitable to any size caravans, campers, tents etc. Each site has the capacity to fit 3 caravans or equivalent and up to 10 guests. Fire pits at all sites. Please note we do not have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient with your own toilet/shower set up and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. Please do not book if you do not have your own toilet. Please , nothing is to be burnt in the firepits other than firewood. No glass bottles or can's at all. Dogs must be on a leash at ALL times and must be cleaned up after. Family Group bookings welcome! Strictly no party groups. *All guests must be added to the booking request. Children under 12 are free but please ensure you include them in with the booking request. *The Mary River, and the water hole water levels are determined on rain fall.*

Site 4 - Kenilworth Rural Camping
Shane's property is amazing, it is very well maintained and cared for , with plenty of shade or open space. There is plenty of room between camp sites to give you your personal space. we loved our time here and we will be back. super bonus - it is only a 2 minute walk to the Mary River

We loved our time at Kenilworth- Shane's set up is perfect for those of us that love our space and he keeps it well maintained and very welcoming, with an easy walk to the river. We could not have asked for more. We can't wait to come back.

Site 3 - Kenilworth Rural Camping
We spent 5 nights here and loved our site. Shane was very welcoming and a great host. Our site 3 gave us shade most of the time with the help of the large trees and was a very short walk to cool off in the river. We have camped at a number of places in Kenilworth but this one has to be one of our favourites. Highly recommend staying here!

I loved how quiet and private site 5 was, The land was clean, grass freshly cute and not a single bindi in sight, my kids loved it. I can't wait for my next stay

Beautiful spot near the creek, fairly flat green grassed area & very well spaced out sites. Nice, quiet & relaxing place & would recommend. Great communication from Shane who was extremely accommodating, thanks for letting us spend some time on your property.
