Private campsites, friendly rare breed farm animals, beautiful views, a waterfall and waterhole for swimming. Gleneden Farm is family run 640 acre working farm nestled in the picturesque western foothills of the Main Range just 90mins from Brisbane. We have free range pigs, sheep, cows, lots of chooks running around the farm and beautiful mountainbiking and bushwalking tracks. You can also buy our organic pastured pork, wood smoked nitrate free ham and bacon, beef, eggs, soaps and jams at the farm shop.
We farm using a combination of traditional farming crafts and the most innovative organic, regenerative techniques available. With no chemicals, few machines and a wide variety of friendly farm animals Gleneden is a place for families to reconnect with nature and farm life.
We enjoy sharing our farm, both with campers and day visitors to our working bullock team displays and farm tours.
Beautiful North Branch Creek runs through Gleneden, with pools, ripples and a waterfall. Native Eucalypt woodland covers two thirds of our property.
We value and work to enhance the great natural biodiversity and beauty in our valley.
We offer a small number of private bush campsites on our beautiful, peaceful, uncrowded rural landscape. There are four creekside campsites along 600m of creek and four on hilltops with great views. 4WD is needed for most sites.
Gleneden is a place to slow down, unplug, relax, unwind, explore and play.
Gleneden Farm offers a truly serene and private camping experience, with spacious sites that allow you to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Many campers appreciate the creekside locations and the opportunity to interact with farm animals, which adds a unique touch to the stay. The hosts, Rohan and Fiona, are frequently mentioned for their warm hospitality and efforts to make guests feel welcome. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, one camper noted the pricing was a bit high, though the overall experience seems to be valued by most visitors.
We stayed at Maggie's Flat this visit.
Great privacy, swimming creek & great hosts who clearly run a great farm.
If you're an off grid camper you'll also love this property.
Amazing little find! So quiet, private and lush large green sites - ours was on the creek - perfect for the hot weather.
The farm tours was perfect for our little one - and we really enjoyed the treats form the farm shop
