Sarah is a Star Host
Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
We have a 400-acre beef cattle and cropping property in the beautiful Scenic Rim, 5 minutes from town. With a dam, tracks to explore, a running creek to fish and frolic in, and plenty of wide-open spaces to rest and relax.
Our Creekside sites are in a large open paddock with creek frontage, near the road and readily accessed with 2wd vehicles. Or we have campsites in an elevated position which offer more privacy but do require a 4wd.
Campers must be self-sufficient and have their own toilet - we have no facilities here. Campfires are permitted in designated areas and you can buy firewood from us.
Note: There are facilities available in town including hot showers and toilets.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept restrained.
Camping at this site offers breathtaking mountain views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hosts are frequently mentioned as being welcoming and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience. While many campers appreciate the spacious and private camping areas, some have noted issues with ants and the need for better-maintained pathways. The lack of amenities and the presence of insects are common concerns, but the scenic beauty and seclusion are consistently praised.
A last minute decision - the best kind! Sarah’s property was absolutely beautiful, well kept, gorgeous views! Sarah herself was also amazing, very accommodating! We love finding hidden gems like this and can’t wait to go back!
While the view of this place is beautiful, for us there’s mostly reasons not to go back
*infestation of bull ants surrounding the entire field where you camp, my dogs, my daughter & both of us were bitten many times
* grass needs to be cut back further away from campgrounds as we seen 2 red belly snakes upon entering
* a larger walkway down to the creek, again the grass was so long on the path to get to the creek I was waiting for a snake to come past my feet
*$60 per night for 2 adults with zero amenities is really overpriced
While the host is lovely, it’s just not somewhere we would rush back to for all of these reasons
What a beautiful peaceful stunning view camp we had at Mountain view 2 and short drive from this camp to a lovely creek to swim in.
Highly recommend a weekend away here
The hosts were so lovely with Matthew greeting us on arrival
Great spot! Lots of camping areas with amazing views you get your own spot with no other campers. Short drive to the creek for a cool down. Will definitely be coming back.
