The camp site is in a clearing in the Eucalyptus woodland on the most rugged part of a working cattle property. The walking tracks range from easy to challenging, with spectacular views from the higher points. An abundance of wildlife live here. Birds range from Kookaburras to Bower Birds. You are sure to see wallabies and possibly hear a koala if camping in summer. Please be aware that spring is usually the driest time of the year and the most likely time for fire bans to be in place. A gas bbq with a burner will be provided for cooking and boiling water if a fire ban is in place. 30 minutes drive from Toowoomba.Pitch your tent in a secluded clearing in Eucalypt woodland, or park your small van or camper trailer in a drive-thru site. The area is only a short drive (300m) along a rocky track up from an all weather road. ( The track becomes sticky after rain for several hours. The site becomes muddy after rain) This is civilized camping! The amenities block boasts hot and cold running water, an inside bath tub and an outdoor shower. Enjoy the mountain view from the loo. Take a short stroll or a strenuous mountain hike. If you have a pushbike, there are property tracks to explore.

What a great spot! Easily our favourite HipCamp so far. Beautiful and isolated stop amongst the trees. The site is perfectly placed to watch the stars without other lights around on the hills. Great amenities. A nice scenic walk. Wonderful hosts!

Great stay. Catherine was very helpful and accommodated our change of arrival date due to rain. Great place to hook up the hammock and relax. Bonus , bathroom adds to the stay.

Currugundi Ridge Bush Camping
A very quiet and private camping spot. The shower/toilet was very clean and is great for those who don't want to go without them. Plenty of firewood supplied to use with the large fire pit. With no-one booked in for the day we left, Catherine let us leave later in the day which was great as it let us take our time packing up. Will definitely be back again in the future!

Amazing as always
Brilliant as always! Perfect time of year- the golden wattle was in full bloom and it wasn’t too cold! The ekka winds stayed above the tree tops so was pleasant and sheltered (although I hear the hike is a bit more exposed of course hahaha) . Catherine really focuses on the small things which makes the stay exemplary! Thank you for another lovely trip for my friend and I ❤️

Relaxing and peaceful
Our 2nd stay at this beautiful camp-site. Always peaceful and facilities are excellent. Fantastic views from the walks.
