Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Easily accessible property with flat areas for camping and or caravans. Front of block is well grassed with some shade. You walk down through some dry rainforest towards the back of the block which fronts onto Coonarr Creek. There is a small fire pit and also a large one which can be used when it’s the right conditions I.e not too windy and or dry. There is a toilet, shower and camp kitchen if necessary. The block is located very close to the boat ramp where you can launch canoes, kayaks, sup’s and small tinnies. The block is also a 5 minute drive to beautiful Coonarr Beach, which is suitable for swimming and fishing. Coonarr Creek is also suitable for fishing either off the bank or from a craft. Kangaroos are some of the resident wildlife and are often seen around the property and adjacent areas. Located approximately 20 minutes from Bundaberg city and all other attractions in the area. Recommended to bring personal insect repellent and or coils etc.Sites 1 to 4 are located at the front of the property, closest to the street entrance. They are well-grassed, flat, and offer easy access to the amenities and camp kitchen. Suitable for RVs, caravans, and tents, these sites provide a convenient and comfortable camping experience. Enjoy the serene environment with ample space for outdoor activities, socialising, and relaxation. The proximity to amenities ensures that all your needs are met, making it an ideal spot for both short-term and extended stays. Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or a longer retreat, these sites offer a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying the great outdoors.

Difficult and unwelcoming
There were no staff onsite when we arrived, this may be due to our late arrival time but it did not look like the place has any staff/reception at all. We initially debated if we had the correct address. There are no signs or directions at all, and no welcome message, so we were unsure where to park. We had to walk around to find an entrance. This may be better in the day, but no accomodations have been made to help those arriving in the dark. Facilities are run down and not clean, the place was pitch black so phone torches needed to find the facilities, which are all unsignposted so prepare to try several doors looking for the toilet. For $35 this place is way overpriced, and we didn't see any other camper or site manager in the whole stay

Great spot to camp, lovely amenities and had the place all to ourselves which was lovely. Just don’t drive in past the front if you’re in a non 4x4 like we did or you’ll get bogged lol. Would absolutely camp here again if we were in the area though! Thanks terry and nev

Camping next to the Creek
Coonarr Creek Camp is a great spot for a peaceful getaway, with the highlight being the beautiful creek area, perfect for fishing or simply relaxing by the water. The facilities and the convenience of a camp kitchen are big plus. Overall, it’s a wonderful mix of nature and convenience!

good place for 1 night stopover
We spent a very nice night camping. Reasonable parking space, facilities include kitchen, bathroom, showers, covered space and open space to make a fire. It also has access to the river for kayaking.

Great place
Our family loved camping here, we had the whole place to ourselves. Plus there was an outdoor kitchen area which made life a little easier. It is close to Bundaberg so we could do the things we needed to do, yet far enough away that we could wake up and hear the birds in the morning. The big bonus was being able to see so many stars at night!!!
