Peaceful Lakeside Stop

This was the perfect stopover on our trip from Algonquin to Mont-Tremblant Park. The property sits on the edge of the forest with a beautiful view of the lake, right next to the host’s house. We were warmly welcomed. Firewood was included in the price and was already prepared for us to light. A nice surprise was the fresh duck and chicken eggs from the host. Unfortunately, rain prevented us from fully enjoying the place, but it was still a relaxing stay. We’d gladly return!

We stayed one night at Shane's place on our way up to Algonquin Park. Everything was just perfect. Shane was a great host, even before we arrived he took great care in making sure the indications to get to his place were adequate. Once we arrived, he showed us his homestead. You can tell he was happy to have us. The parking area for our van was perfect also. He set up a nice fire pit area . Our dog really loved the place also. The place was very quiet at all times. He even gave us a dozen of fresh eggs. When we return up to Algonquin Park, we will definitely stop at Shane's for a overnight stay.
