At our place, it's public land, so we aim to offer access as simply as possible. We'd love to chat with you around the fire, or give you space to relax, depending on your needs. We live in our eco-friendly straw bale house on the property, and the forest behind can welcome you. We've prepared a flat space for setting up a tent in the heart of the forest with a view of the lake; you'll be very secluded! Access to an outdoor compost toilet is available at all times. Access to the wild lake out back with canoes on-site. Access to the fire pit. Access to numerous hiking trails nearby. If money is an issue, we can work out help in the garden or elsewhere in exchange for your campsite. Looking forward to meeting you!Site de camping pour une seule tente accessible en sentier en forêt à 5 mn du stationnement. Vue sur le lac, accès aux canots en moins de 3 minutes. Sans trace vraiment important pour nous. La toilette à compost se situe près de la maison à moins de 3 mn de marche. Merci de n'installer qu'une seule tente 3 personnes maximum à l'emplacement indiqué, pas d'autre espace prévu. C'est un petit espace pour une seule tente.

Peaceful break from humanity

This was a beautiful forested nature spot that was very peaceful. The campsite is on a ridge between two smaller lakes with a small hike to the car, Solene’s home and the compostable outhouse style bathroom. This is a great place for adults who enjoy nature and are not looking for many amenities. They mentioned having a canoe available for use. It was a purrrrfect trip for myself and my cat!

Arrivée simple et accueil chaleureux, l'endroit de camping se trouve dans une forêt de pins, sur une pointe entre deux étangs séparés par un impressionnant barrage de castors. Avons pris l'apéro en canot sur l'eau au coucher du soleil, c'était féérique. Accès à une toilette sèche, un vrai plus ! Merci :)

Beautiful quiet camp site. The site itself is on the top of a ridge, giving you a fantastic view and protection from sleeping on wet ground if it were to rain. The scenery is amazing, with lots of birds and beavers to admire. The hosts are very friendly and communicate easily.

Nous étions les premiers à utiliser ce site. Nous avons été en mesure d’y installer trois petites tentes individuelles ainsi qu’un setup pour les repas. C’est un endroit vraiment tranquille, à côté d’un barrage de castors, où on entend les oiseaux et les outardes plus que la route. Le lac est visible du site. C’est rudimentaire, mais c’est aussi ce qui fait son charme, et le prix est imbattable! Je recommande!
