The campsite comes with 8'x10' Coleman tent and 6' table included. If you would rather use your own tent, that can be arranged. Please message me if needed. Nestled in the mountains of Utuado, Puerto Rico, tucked into our valley, you will find the camp. Be awakened by the sunrise over the mountain tops, near and far. The creek and trails will be waiting, after you enjoy your morning Puerto Rican coffee and fresh bread. Puerto Rican meals and Evening Campfire available. 420med👍 We have many additional options to add to your campsite and experience here. Please see all the extras we have to offer. Reserve them with you date. Utuado has so many great recreational outdoor activities ( See Photos). Rivers, waterfalls, beaches, flowers, culture and much more. We can give you ideas and directions for the things you might be interested in experiencing. With only one campsite on the property, and the comfortably secluded surroundings, you will indulge in peace and beauty. Campers leave feeling refreshed and healthier than they arrived. The fresh air, the perfect sunshine and good quality mountain food feel great to consume. You can enjoy the plentitude of animals here and surrounding the property. Both wild and domestic. If you're a bird watcher, this is like a natural sanctuary. Song birds sing all through the day, and the doves snore beautifully at night. Cranes, owls, hawks, humming birds, parrots, and many more I'm not familiar with visit all the time. We got farm ducks, and chickens too. My neighbor has a flock of Peacocks that are usually out to be seen (it's a hike to see them, but we can take you there if you'd like). Coqui's singing romantic songs all through the night. Crabs in the creek for the kids to catch. NO large iguanas have been seen here. Small tree lizards is all we've ever seen here. We have a lot of fruit trees on the property. If you see anything ready for the taking let us know and you can partake in the experience of harvesting and eating it. Bananas, avocados, soursop, guava, fig, calabaza, coffee, name, coconuts, pana pen, and more. Clean filtered mountain water is available for purchase. As well we keep a regular supply of Caribbean snacks available. Sweet and savory available for purchase. Hope to see you.Beautiful and exciting at the same time. Enjoy the area as you please (at your own risk). Not many neighbors so come and have a fun time. Play some music and have a party if you want. Hike and explore the many trails with little chance of getting lost. Kayaks, and more available to rent. Camp on a raised 10’x16’ level platform with a metal roof, and 4x4 walled off area for privacy. You will be comfortable and safe. Park right next to your site for easy access. Easy to get to the site and you’re less than 10 minutes from town. Easy and beautiful drive to get here. Rent our gear OR bring your own gear. We have all our rentals available A La Cart (pick and pay for what you want here on HipCamp). Contact me with ANY Questions. We’re here to help. We have plenty of camping items available for rent. Prepay for what you know you’ll need, and feel free to ask for more after you arrive and realize you need something else. We have 3 two man Kayaks for rent. $200 deposit (or valuable collateral) per kayak. $35 per day used. ID info for main user of each boat (must at least have a drivers license). Life jackets included. Great for exploring our two near lakes. $30 drop off and pick up per kayak (optional available based of your vehicle capacity). See rental info for more info. A lot more regularly used items for rent too. See rental list. Campers and RVs can not park at our site. They won't fit and can't turn around to leave. Full size trucks and smaller vehicles are fine. Campers with an extended van have done it, but it wasn't easy. If you have other requests we’ve not considered please let us know. We’ll see what we can do for you. For more about what to plan for your stay contact us early, so you’ll come prepared. Or make no plans and just come to relax and eat good food. 🏕️

Campfires allowed
Firepit, private. NO WOOD BURNING FIRES/PITS (sorry, I love them too)!!! We do have a propane fire pit made for camping. It’s very enjoyable. Works okay for cooking meals. Great for making s’mores. $15 first night. $5 each addition night used. If you don’t use the propane you don’t pay any other days. It can stay in camp until you leave, for when you want it. Nice, safe, level, solid area for enjoying the fire and s’mores. Just steps away from the camp.
Toilet available
Portable toilet. Campsite has a small walled space for privacy. Changing, shower, or restroom. Bring a solar shower bag. Bring your own toilet situation (bucket’n bag, compost, or other clean option, that’s up to you), or rent our portable unit.
Pets allowed
Off leash, on leash. Small or very well trained dogs only. Other animals welcome too. Please let us know if you’re bringing pets ahead of arrival so we can plan accordingly. For large dogs we can set a dog cable runner for $20 every 3 nights. Steps away from the camp. Give them some space to explore (and you space to enjoy in camp). If your dog is VERY well trained, we can discuss off leash options.

Had a great time staying at Rob’s - host is great with communication, and site is nice and truly feels like you’re in the middle of the rainforest (which you are!). Hosts themselves are super nice and interesting people to chat with; watched the sunrise and went on a hike to see some petroglyphs and a beautiful charco nearby. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area!

Great birds and plants
Tent ¡ With kids
Great place to camp. Friendly, accommodating host. Owls and coqui frogs at night. Tody, oriole, green mango, bullfinch, shiny cowbirds walking on road in the morning. Good spot to stay if going to search for the parrots at rio abajo. We loved sleeping by a banana tree.

We booked this last minute when we were in the area, and when we showed up, Tanya was very gracious and happy to meet us. She was super hospitable and gave us treat bags with some Puerto Rican goodies inside. The host are English speaking, and we were grateful for that because it was getting late at night, and we were not exactly sure where we were heading. Beautiful family, beautiful view. Thank you
