Keishya's place was easy to find and easy to access because her directions were great. The communiction was excellent and she graciously allowed us to arrive a little later than planned. She greeted us personally and gave a tour of the amazing accommodations. Everything was clean. The kitchen was laid out is an organized fashion and Keishya even had breakfast supplies for us. I would *highly* recommend staying here.

Nice time was had!
The location is fantastic near El Yunque and several other rainforest parks. It’s right near a more private beach as well in the Punta Santiago Region.
Layout
Basically, this is separate part of a larger home with 3 bedrooms sharing a kitchen and living room. Two of the bedrooms share a bathroom/ shower. The house can be noisy due to the tile floors, but nothing too crazy.
Provided:
A pool, towels, soap, internet (slow).
Cooking supplies fridge plates and kitchen. Perfect for keeping food costs low.
All rooms had AC which for someone who is from a dryer climate became necessary in the humidity.
Cellular service inside is blocked quite a bit depending on your carrier and room you are in (both AT&T (Liberty) and T-Mobile struggled). Going outside alleviated those issues.
Property, while worn, was exceptionally clean and beautiful.
The Host, Keishya, went above and beyond to accommodate me (as well as the other guests). She is a bubble of positive energy.

Wonderful beachside retreat
Staying at Barefoot Traveler was a delight: clean, comfortable, affordable. It was easily walkable to a calm, sandy beach and a nature reserve. But the best thing about the space was Keiysha herself. She's friendly, welcoming, and so knowledgeable about local goings on. If you are able to go kayaking with her to monkey island, it will be one of the highlights of your vacation. We wish her good luck and hope to return one day!
One tip: do NOT use the google pin on the Hipcamp listing to get there, it dropped us 45 minutes away by car. Instead, type in "Barefoot Travelers Rooms and Adventures" and you'll get to the right place. :)

Barefoot Travelers Rooms Guesthouse
Keishya is the best hostess I’ve ever come across! From the beginning, communication was absolutely perfect. When we arrived, she gave us a tour of the property, then down to the beach (1/2 block away) where she showed us access to the nature preserve. The pool is clean and private and she actually had coffee, muffins and fruit layed out. She made our trip to Puerto Rico perfect! We have definitely made a new friend. Absolutely recommended!!

Barefoot Travelers Rooms Guesthouse
Delightful guesthouse!
This was the best possible place to decompress and relax as part of a trip to Puerto Rico. It was the first leg of our trip, and it was so amazing to slow down, walk through the preserve, enjoy the pool, drive to nearby waterfalls, dip in the ocean. Keishya is so lovely and gracious, full of recommendations and warmth! She made sure we had breakfast foods and coffee for the mornings, and even provided delicious homemade oatmeal carrot muffins. I can't recommend this stay highly enough to everyone!
