Summer Cottage at Hidden Acres
The cottage was super cute. It’s small, so be prepared. There is a small table with three chairs, and another chair in the living space. No couch or kitchen, but a mini fridge and microwave. There is a little space for coffee. The upstairs is a decent size, it’s more of a loft, so it’s all open to the downstairs. I put my two younger boys upstairs and an air mattress in the living area at night. It worked out well. We were the only ones on the property, and it was super peaceful. We walked around to explore a bit, and sat in the yard while the kids played. I would definitely stay again, but maybe this time with no children, to relax a bit more.

Summer Cottage at Hidden Acres
I absolutely loved this cottage! It has a charming idyllic warm feel to it that makes you feel at home. I love the old hard wood floors, shutters, and country barn doors. Being used to the hustle and bustle of the city, the calm quiet fresh air was so refreshing. I wish I could have stayed another night. Would 100% stay here again!

Simply Beautiful & Peaceful
The Summer Cottage was such a simply beautiful space. While we only had the pleasure of staying one night, what a peaceful, comfortable night it was. We will definitely keep this space in mind for our next need to escape regular busy life. Highly recommend.

Wonderful cottage- watch your head!
We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Melody's cottage was perfect, and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful and offered a nice break from any hustle and bustle.
One word of caution: the ceiling upstairs is sloped, and we both being over six feet tall each bumped our heads more than once getting to the top of the stairs or on the way down. A very minor problem overall, and it certainly wouldn't prevent us from coming back again !

Great, even in a stormy situation
So, funny enough, my family didn't get the chance to stay with Melody after severe storms from Hurricane Ida hit the east coast at the end of summer 2021, flooded the area, and knocked out the electricity the night we were meant to stay. That said, Melody was wonderful communicating with us and even offered to help find alternate accommodation in the middle of dealing with storm damage and cleanup at her own properties. Before that point, she was also responsive and helpful leading up to our stay, making sure we knew there were some renovations going on and working with us to make sure it didn't affect our stay. I really appreciated her hospitality, even though we never got to experience it in person. Next time we pass through, we'd definitely try to stay with Melody and her family!

Melody’s Home was Music to my Soul
I couldn’t help myself with the pun. It was just such a perfect stay! Melody was truly an amazing host, she made so many accommodations to make our stay peaceful and unforgettable. The barn itself was hit hard with storms so she offered a stay in the main house, which was charming and comfortable. I underestimated the amount of time that it would take to arrive at the property, and she was flexible; gave us very detailed directions for how to arrive, even making videos on how to self check in given that we arrived so late! Our pet sitter cancelled and she allowed us to bring our pup who was able to enjoy the beautiful property. Her main concern was our pup’s safety given that there are some predators in the area (so considerate and thoughtful!) She was also gracious enough to allow us a late check out! She stacked the house with snacks and drinks which made us feel right at home. She supplied us with sheets, blankets, and towels. Melody is currently making even more improvements to the home and it’s so beautiful already that it can only become more delightful! The property itself was absolutely gorgeous and tranquil with a small pond, plenty of trees, and large fields! Exactly what we needed. I highly highly recommend a stay with Melody!
