Our chemical free farm is set on 45 acres overlooking the iconic Delaware Water Gap in the Pocono Mountains! We're located 1 hour from NYC and 1.5 hours from Philadelphia. There are plenty of activities within the 45 acres: hiking, fishing, farming activities, bird watching, biking all on site. We have luscious fields of sustainably produced vegetables, fruit and flowers. Explore the Delaware river from our boat launch or one of the great canoe rental companies. Hike Mt. Tammany, Ski Shawnee Mt, walk the Appalachian Trail, visit America's oldest jazz club in Delaware Water Gap or visit the dozens of water falls surrounding our farm for a swim. (Autumn is camping season in the poconos, bring blankets and plan hikes for excellent fall foliage) We have 3 camping locations which you can park near with your vehicle. They are all private camps and out of sight from others. Our camps sites are for people that like camping in the mountains and near a working farm. Our farm and the community we built is focused on sustainable living with nature, local self reliance, and kindness. Also, feel free to join us in the fields, request a tour, pet a goat, smell a pig, and check out our DIY home renovation, (built with hempcrete). Pets should not be off leash unless well behaved and pets should not be left unattended. truck campers are allowed if they're under 8 feet. No trailers/campers.Welcome to The Hempstead at Mountain Dale Farm. Our campsite has been ranked as the top places to hiccup 3 years in a row! We share our 45 acres of regenerative farm land overlooking the Delaware Water Gap! We pride ourselves on keeping our farm free of chemicals, free of judgement, and full of kind folks to help you enjoy your stay.  There are many activities within the 45 acres: hiking, fishing, farming activities, bird watching, biking all on site. We have luscious fields of sustainably produced vegetables, fruits, flowers, pigs, goats, chickens, and honey bees! Our farm store offers all fresh produce, honey, eggs, maple syrup, and more!  Explore the Delaware River from our private river access, or rent from Chamberlain Canoes. Hike Mt. Tammany, Mt Minsi, Mcdade trail, Shawnee Mt, Appalachian Trail or visit Bushkill Falls (The Niagara of PA).  Grab breakfast a The Shawnee General Store, or Coffee from our favorite shop in Delaware Water Gap The Mystical Mug. After a day or rafting down the river we suggest a beverage and a bite from the local hangout The Minisink Hotel! Pets should not be off leash unless well behaved, and pets should not be left unattended. Our camps sites are for people that like camping in the mountains and near a farm and pond. My dog and I loved our stay at the camp by the pond. We took a few walks around the paths, the property is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. Eric was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed.

Organic Farm in the Pocono Mts.
Check in and getting there went smoothly. It rained when we were there so Eric left our wood at our site under a tarp which was very appreciated! We were also able to purchase eggs on our second day when we realized we were out. Overall great experience. Only suggestion I would make would be to have a picnic table available at the site. Thanks Eric!

I’ve been back here a few times now, I loveeeee this entire area. Extremely close to Stroudsburg and plenty of activities and great places to eat/drink/shop. Eric and his family are so friendly and kind, very welcoming animals at the farm. Be on lookout for my favorite big fluffy white doggo. The sites are clean, spacious and relaxing

Great site! having a sink, shower, and compost toilet is so helpful when camping. It was 10min away from the supermarket and kayaking which we enjoyed!
