There are 5 sites to stop with an RV or tent plus a stone cabin with loft. The soil is very rocky not easy to farm so Grandpa said they " lived on elderberries and groundhog". 17 miles away is Punxsytawney home of the famous groundhog. There is 50 acres with a pink marked trail to Red Bank Creek and back up through a hemlock forest. A small stream runs through the property and forms a rocky delta in Red Bank Creek. All camp sites are close to the main road on eastern border of property. I love the rocks on the property huge and small. Hike, enjoy the sound of the stream tickling through property, stargaze, or rest and relax in a hammock. There is one along the little stream and one at Outdoor Adventure Camp Site. Hammocks stored out of season, ask if desired. No hunting on property but fishing allowed on western end along "river" aka Red Bank Creek. Please keep fires in firepit and noise levels low.

Outdoor Adventurer Camp Site

What a beautiful spot! We only did a quick 1 night stay over but I would have loved to explore more. Easy to find, spacious site, very quiet, and great hosts. Having the option to hike around with my dog was such a bonus too. Highly recommend!

Outdoor Adventurer Camp Site

Already planning our next trip!

Less than a day into our visit we decided we will absolutely be back! It was quiet and super private but our 4 kids had no problem keeping themselves occupied. The walk to the river was simple and gorgeous, about 3/4 mile with a clearly marked trail. Our host also brought us some fresh eggs and went out of her way to give the kids a fun farm animal experience. Memories were made and we can't wait to return

Rustic Cabin

Hobbit Adventure

My father-in-law and I enjoyed the simple beauty of the Rustic Cabin on our motorcycle trip. The surrounding landscape is amazing and you can hear the creek while enjoying coffee in the morning. Linda is a great host, provided coffee and had comfortable bedding!

Outdoor Adventurer Camp Site

What a beautiful site! I was all packed up and ready to go, but had to stay for another mug of tea and listen to the song birds. There was a whip-poor-will! There are so many activities in the area that 4 days wasn't enough. There are another week's worth of fun things to do. Enjoy this camp!

Rustic Cabin

Thanks for a fantastic stay! Loved the location and traffic was sparse - went on a 40 minute walk in the surrounding area without seeing one car. The proximity to town and some local activities couldn't be beat! Can't say enough good things about the cabin and lovely host! The creek was fun to play in and so pretty with the sunlight coming through the canopy. For future guests: I wasn't sure what was included in the cabin and could have easily packed half the "stuff" as far as cooking supplies, camp chairs, bedding, camp shower etc. Very well equipped! Tried leaving a few supplies behind in the drawers that we brought and didn't use since we benefitted from someone's previous donation of ketchup packets :)
