This campsite offers a serene and picturesque setting with easy access to a creek, making it a favorite for those seeking a peaceful retreat. Guests frequently mention the well-maintained grounds, clean facilities, and the helpfulness of the host, Curt. The location is convenient for quick trips into town and provides ample space for various camping setups. However, some visitors noted issues with privacy due to nearby roads and occasional noise from trains, though these seem to be minor concerns for most campers.
Very nice property! Full of lots of woods & exploring. Our host was kind & made sure we were set up! Definitely will be back! Beautiful land! & so much exploring for your dog! Neighbors are super friendly as well!
The site was well maintained and flat. The owner was very hospitable and offered free wood. Also, anyone who drove by stopped and said hello and checked in. Very nice community.
Curt is a wonderful host and his sites are always impeccably kept. There is always firewood available and the porta-potties are kept very clean and always stocked. This campground is my family’s favorite.
Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Enough space to enjoy your company and feel like you’re in a private area. Overall was very pleased with fombells landing spot 126A
Upon arrival we were pleased to see this campsite. Clean and undisturbed. While camping I sustained an injury while splitting wood. Curt was able to guide us to a hospital to get stitched up. When we returned he offered us a free night to make up for lost time. This was a very nice gesture and we will be staying with them again next camping trip.
This was not a private property. The host was very accommodating but there were many instances I would.od preferred different. We were along the river but multiple hours of kayakers use your site as a docking spot. There should of been no docking signs for the price we paid. There were two major roads around us creating no privacy. Very over priced for what we got and we have camped many places and got more for less. Would not recommend. Pretty sure the bathrooms haven't been cleaned since April according to the posting.
