The active farm lays along the lazy Marsh Creek not far from where it collides with the mighty Bald Eagle. Campsites are spaced out along the creek, in the fields, and on the mountain. Fish on any of the three streams, relax by the water or enjoy view of the cattle and wildlife. Bald Eagle State Park, State College, and Lock Heaven are a short distance away.

#5 Creekside North

Excellent camping experience.

I always enjoy camping here! I was excited to see that Matt had created a new spot The first time I camped here was at the Cornfield site in the spring when the corn was not high yet. This spot is in the general vicinity of that one but it's a totally different experience having the corn be high! I highly recommend it. I couldn't ask for more, it's easy to get to, plenty of space, a beautiful stream on one side, and a big tall beautiful cornfield on the other! The bar high table is a nice touch too. Looking forward to being back here real soon!

Mountain Hike In

Friendly host that shows you parking and way up the campsite. Beautiful and simple campsite! Right in the middle up the woods on top of a hill up a walk from the parking in the cornfields below. Would recommend

#5 Creekside North

Basic

Very basic, in between a cornfield and a brook. Can be muddy, port a potty in walking distance. A bit noisy, busy road on other side of brook

#1 Creekside Owl Cove

This is my 3 rd time staying here. It’s very secluded and close to the creek. You can fish or just sit and enjoy a beverage beside it. This time I saw an owl right at dusk. It was amazing.

#4 Corn Field by Marsh Creek

Excellent last minute decision

It was a total last minute move. I booked and arrived within 5 hours, and they didn’t blink! Came out to hopefully catch the northern lights that were scheduled to dip down low enough to catch and the cornfield was a perfect view for it. I didn’t see them but falling asleep by the babbling stream and having the whole area to myself by pure chance made the trip worth it.The description is very accurate, the hosts directed me right to the site without delay and went above and beyond early the next morning when my suv battery died. Would definitely recommend and I would like to check out some of the other sites when I have more time. It was wet in the morning so I can see how all wheel drive could be helpful.

#1 Creekside Owl Cove

Great site!

We stayed in site #1 - great spot near the creek! Has ample seating around the fire pit plus a picnic table. Good flat grassy clearing for tents.
