Unplug, Refresh, Renew! Fairie Tale Farm invites you to experience its magical ambiance and warm hospitality. Our gorgeous historical farmstead is a hidden gem that begs to be shared! Explore hiking and biking trails on this expansive 60-acre horse farm, or simply unwind while watching the horses graze (no treats, please) and observing wildlife meandering through the woods. For more outdoor adventures, Ricketts Glen State Park is nearby, offering opportunities to hike alongside 22 breathtaking waterfalls in the gorge or kayak on Lake Jean. If camping is your pleasure, but hiking isn't your cup of tea, fret not! There are plenty of local antique stores to peruse for treasures or several wineries to tour and indulge in tastings. Not sure which of our many unique campsites suits you and your guests best? Simply book one, and we can have a chat to determine the perfect fit. All our sites come equipped with a picnic table, a fire ring stocked with one bundle of wood and kindling, and access to fresh water. Plus, there's a convenient Port-A-Potty nearby for your comfort.

Moondance Retreat

Moondance site

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Susan’s farm campground! We stayed at the moondance site, which I recommend for large groups. there was plenty of space for six tents, and it was right next to a horse pasture on top of a hill, overlooking some rolling hills. Blue the horse, and Magic the pony seemed to enjoy our company and hung with us one night:) It was very private, and close to Ricketts Glen, and the small town of Shickshinny, where we went to a small brewery. Would stay here again, thanks Susan!

Shelterwood

Dang, I almost don’t wanna tell everyone else how awesome this spot is. Excellent secluded camping 1( mins from the state park. Felt like we were all alone in the woods, beautiful spot! Susan had the firewood stocked for us, couldn’t ask for more. I will be back!

Moondance Retreat

Susan’s land was a peaceful place to camp. There were a couple of other groups around, but the sites are spaced out and they were quiet. The site was perfect for our two trailers. It was also a great base camp for exploring Ricketts Glen.

Life On The Ledge

Life on the Ledge

I had a great time tent camping here with my wife! We set up our 10person tent and had plenty of room to spare. The site was far from other sites and peacefully quiet. We hiked around and had plenty nice views to see. The host Susan was very friendly and a joy to talk with. Her property is clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend staying here! I know we will be back

Shelterwood

Shelterwood is probably our favorite site at Susan's farm. The fall leaves etc made it so magical and the weather was perfect.
