The house is located on two acres. There is a firepit on the property with plenty of wood available. There are hiking trails right behind the house. Campers are welcome to stay in the house or camp in the back yard. You can call it Executive camping. The house is old and was built in 1860 so it has an old house feel. It is fully functional with heat and hot water. There are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with nice hot water and a kitchen for cooking. There is also a beautiful deck behind the house with a grill. Many of my guest says this is the best part of the house.. Its really inspiring to sit on the deck at night time and look at the stars. There is a lot to do in the area, when you book I can send you a list of things. There is a unique thermal geyser about 3 miles down the road that is a must see for example. Knoebbles amusement park is about a 20 minute drive if that is your thing. This little cozy old house built in the 1800's is an old coal miners house. It will allow you to engage in executive camping. You can pitch your tents in the back yard or stay in the house for your comfort. There is a nice firepit with plenty of wood stacked nearby. Light a fire for the night and enjoy the company of your friends around the campfire. You have complete privacy in this isolated area. Sitting on the deck in the back is relaxing and takes in the great sights of the sky. There is a walking trail behind the house and there are trails within a quarter mile from the house. You can walk or bike these trails. I will be providing a document with all the attractions in the area.

The bathroom was very dirty, tons of mildew and clutter, no room for guests to place their own items. seemed as tho the shower and tub had not been cleaned a long while. The kitchen and back porch are great. The smell and over use of air freshners is overwhelming, makes it feel like you are not sure what kind of smell the O are trying to cover up. The bed and living was actually comfy aside from the house being on a full slant due to foundation settling. Unfortunately we would not stay again.

A Cozy & Affordable Stay
Really enjoyed this semi rustic, cozy and extremely convenient Hipcamp! Everything was pretty much set up. Pretty much all you need is to bring food & change of clothing for your stay. I truly loved the location and how accessible it was to gas stations, general stores, Plaza, restaurants, etc. One of the most astonishing features was the amount of land that the property overlooks from the backyard area. Was also pet friendly & accommodating. When or if I had any questions, the host George would always respond in a timely fashion. If you're looking for a unique, bit cozy home away from home, please book. George is the man!

I love this house/cabin. Very cozy, like you wanna stay on the couch and binge TV. The backyard is probably my favorite spot. My fur child loved it too. Lot of room for him to explore. I definitely recommend this for a nice getaway

We had a nice stay. The kitchen has every appliance and tool you could need. It was very chilly the weekend we were there. The house stayed warm and there were plenty of space heaters available if needed. In close proximity to several beautiful parks. We also checked out the nearby geyser, which was cool to see. Although, we didn't get to use the fire pit because of the weather, the fire pit looked awesome and wood was provided.
