Situated on 5 forested acres and less than 1/4 mile from the ocean, this secluded forest wonderland offers a place to chill out, explore, and sleep deep. The gentle sound of the ocean will lull you to sleep. You can walk to the beach or go explore the stunning sights of Oregon's central coast, including the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area and Thor's Well. The forested property is home to cedar, hemlock, and spruce and includes a forest walking trail. Outhouse with composting toilet available. *There is 1 friendly dog on site. She is allowed to roam the property and may come say hello.

Private camping w/ beach and forest
I recently took my 9 year old son to camp out of our truck camper on Irene and Kevin's property. We had a great experience and would highly recommend their spot. The driving directions were clear. Their communication was excellent. It was a private spot and we enjoyed both the forest and the short walk (1/2 mile) to the beach. It was also cool to have many trails to wander around in the forest. There were no bugs, and the forest was old-growth with ferns and a soft floor. A key amenity was a clean and thoughtfully stocked outhouse. We are excited to return in the future.

Forest Campsite: Diameter
Very nice quiet spot. It would have been nice to have a little more info up front. It was confusing in the dark and small tent pads that you don't park next to and if tent(s) are too big you have to cook somewhere away from the tent pad. Anyway, it was nice and peaceful and has what you need, just more info, maybe a site map with dimensions, and little lights or signs would make a big difference. All in all it was very pleasant, we enjoyed our stay.

Diameter forest camping
I had a lovely few nights camped in the forest on Irene's land, with the birds and sound of the ocean nearby. A seasonal creek tucked sweet meditation spots into the trees, well-tended trails made it easy to walk into town, and a gorgeous outdoor compost toilet rounded out anything you could need. No cell service or wifi. Definitely recommend and would visit again.

Cute, coastal hipcamp site
This campsite was very cute. It was essentially just off the landowner's driveway, but it was out of sight, down a little path, and surrounded by trees, so it felt very private. The actual flat ground area for the tent itself was actually a little small, so keep that in mind if you have a big tent. We were testing out our new 4-person tent and it was a little too big for the space, leaving very little space for "stuff." There also wasn't much space to hang out or put chairs or anything -- though there was a separate outdoor area with a table and chairs that was provided by landowner (we didn't end up having a chance to use it, though, so I can't review it). The landowner was very nice and showed us where to park and how to get to the actual campsite. I would have preferred, however, if they just had the directions and parking spot laid out in the instructions when we booked the site, so we didn't have to coordinate and meet the landowner before getting to our campsite and getting set up. This can help if, for example, a hipcamper is delayed in getting to the site, as we were -- I had to keep texting the landowner to say that we were running late, which was awkward. Overall excellent place. It was very close to the coast, though we didn't have a chance to try walking from the site to the coast. But it was only a few minutes' drive.
