Welcome to Viridia Acres! An 8-acre oasis just 40 minutes outside of Portland, OR metro area, our farm is the perfect getaway for some time in the country or for an easy home base on your way to other adventures. Come enjoy the open space! Your hosts are Virginia and Kellin - we are both passionate about sustainable and regenerative farming. Our dream is to continue to evolve this property to a farm and place that our friends, family and broader community can enjoy. We welcome people of all gender identity or expression, race, ethnicity, religion, and sexual orientation. Oregon City is only 20 minutes away where you can enjoy amazing breakfast at The Hive or coffee at White Rabbit! IMPORTANT: 1. There is an RV on the property at the end of the gravel driveway and near the main building (but not near campsites). Please do not disturb them or go near their area. They are not the camp hosts and will not have any information for you. If you need assistance please contact Kellin and Virginia directly. 2. Once you are booked, you will receive an entry code for the main gate plus other instructions 24 hours before your reservation starts. 3. Fire risk is very high right now! Please only use gas stoves and grills away from the tall grass. Similarly, do not park on the tall grass as this is a fire hazard. Please be mindful of ashes or other fire risks. 4. During summer months (July, Aug, Sept), it can get very hot on the property. Please bring adequate water. The shade is best in early to mid afternoon - late afternoon the sun can be very hot. If you're concerned, we recommend brining a shade tent.Oak Oasis Campsite is a large campsite situated towards the back of the property with views of the neighboring farm. The campsite is under a beautiful Oak tree next to a small bubbling creek and alongside a peaceful grove of cherry trees (fruiting in July!). This space is perfect for your solo or couples getaway, group of friends, or a family outing. It can easily fit 3-5 cars and several tents, camper vans, etc. in both sun and shade. Plenty of space to relax, set up some lawn games, and enjoy nature. IMPORTANT: Do not park in the tall grass. This is a fire hazard! WEATHER/SHADE: During summer months (July, Aug, Sept), it can get very hot on the property. There is potable water at the main building hose (SW corner) to stay hydrated. The shade is best in early to mid afternoon - late afternoon the sun can be very hot. There is an area that is shaded all day but we've just cleared it, so it is a bit sharp and not great for little feet! We plan to fix it next season with grass.

A True Gem
Tent
Oak Oasis is, without question, one of the best places I've ever camped at. The campsite is beautifully maintained and spacious--nestled in a glade of old trees. There's a picturesque pond nearby on the property and a small creek that runs alongside the campsite. While there is a road somewhat nearby, it is not very heavily travelled, and there is no noise to speak of in the evening and at night. I slept like a baby the entire time I was there. One feels like one has the whole place to oneself. The area is lovely--very bucolic, with well maintained farms and places of interest in the general vicinity (not to mention in Portland, which is a relatively short distance away (20 miles)). Milo McIver State Park is literally a 15 minute drive away and is an absolutely fantastic place to hike (they also have a disc golf course at the park that looked like a lot of fun). I loved my experience at Oak Oasis so much that I promised myself that I would return someday. The hosts were very responsive and pleasant. All-in-all I simply cannot recommend this campsite highly enough--it is a true gem.

Osk Oasis
16 ft car
Really great place to have a dog to just let them run. Perfect after a long day of driving. Not too far out of town and easy to get to. Really quiet and a great price. Definitely would go back again.

Tent
Very nice private space tucked at the bottom of the property near a pond/and maybe a small stream. While there is only a picnic table, no outhouse, it was just right for a quick night of good rest. The property is easy to find but a little tricky to find the keypad (no T-mobile service). Great area to cruise around the countryside and not too far from Silverton and Silver Falls. Glad they created this little oasis.

The Oak Oasis is excellent camp ground if you want somewhere your dog can roam leash free. There are so many berry bushes to enjoy. Virginia and Kellin were very descriptive with instructions and responsive as needed. This is a private property with gate code. We enjoyed our quiet getaway on this site right next to creek.

24 ft Class C · With kids
I feel like this really should be a tent site only. Once in your site, the property is very pretty. However getting to the site is a bit of an adventure. We were in a 24ft c class Rv. The gate needs to be fixed. I was by myself and had to get out 7 times in and out of my vehicle because either it would close on me before I could get into my vehicle or it would never open wide enough to get my Rv through. Once you accomplish that you are supposed to take a quick sharp turn to go down the “road” to your site. Even if the gate opened wide enough an Rv can never make that tight turn. But the gate never opened all the way anyway. So I had to drive up the road onto the property they asked us not to just to be able to turn around and get to the road. The path they want you to drive on is just lawn. The trees hang way over and scratched my Rv down the side the entire way to my site. Then when leaving, same thing could barely make the turn to get out the gate since it wouldn’t open up all the way. Regardless this place needs a lot of work and honestly should be car and tent camping only. Nothing tall like an rv since the trees aren’t cut back and will scratch your vehicle and getting in and out of that turn is seriously brutal.

Under the cherry trees
16 ft car
It was really nice and quiet after dark, it was beautiful next to the little stream under the cherry trees and there was lots of birds. It was nice to be able to have my dog off leash a little bit. The directions to get there were clear and it was a lovely little place.
