5 acres surrounded by open farming fields. Close to nearby city life and basic necessities but far enough to see every star possible at night time. Hagg lake is nearby for fishing, boating, swimming and picnicking. Large variety of wineries nearby for amazing views and great tasting wines. The coast is just a short 1.5 hours away as well! Great location to go for day trips and have a home base or just hunker down and find local things to do! We hope while you're here you enjoy the land as much as we do. It's a beautiful place to be!Surrounded by open fields, neighbors to goats chickens, pigs and dogs you're right at home at a small family farm. 4 minute drive from the small town of Gaston where you can find good eats, drinks, coffee and basic groceries. About 20 minutes away you can boat, hike, fish, swim and picnic at Hagg Lake. A variety of wineries within 20 minutes any directions for the well known sights and tastes of Willamette valley wine. If you're looking for a longer journey Downtown Portland, waterfalls and the coast are all only about 1-2hours away, very easy day trips.

Farm View RV Site
We spent a quiet and restful night at the Farm View site. It is on a beautiful hillside location. We were parked next to the goats and pigs who were good neighbors. We were also visited by chickens, ducks and a bunny. One of the pigs had recently given birth so there were nine BABY PIGS! There was no one there when we got there but we made made ourselves at home. As is typical of HipCamp or AirBnB, communication is through the app which I had neglected to do so there was no reason to expect a brass band welcoming. As noted by other reviews, the power and water hookups are a ways from the concrete pad. They have provided a power extension cord and a short hose to take up the slack. If you want your water hookup to be lead free you will need to bring a 50' hose. There is also a fairly level gravel area closer to the hookups. We didn't find another place in the area with power and water. We enjoyed our overnight stay and would certainly come here again.

Farm View is Fantastic
We (two adults) enjoyed our 4-night stay at Farm View RV Site. Rather than put our trailer (20’) on the large concrete pad, we parked just to the side of it on a level patch of gravel so we could better reach the water and electricity. (We’ll make a note to carry extensions with us in the future, which is probably a good idea anyway.) Getting to the location was easy. Lovely, serene setting with remarkable views. We had a weekend event at Henry Hagg Lake, and it was no more than a 20-minute drive to get there. Perfect! Hope to be back.

Farm View RV Site
A beautiful setting with friendly farm animals. The RV pad / tent site felt reasonably private at a distance from the main house, but a hedge or foliage in between would be perfect. A compost toilet for tent campers would seem to be a necessary amenity. (All you need is a five gallon bucket with a snap-on toilet seat from Sportsmans Warehouse and sawdust for smell.)

This was a great night! My grandkids and all of us enjoyed the farm. Dean came and spent time introducing and teaching us about their animals. We sure enjoyed watching all the different personalities of each animal! The property was beautiful and directions and explanations were perfect. We would stay again!

Great place! We were going to a show at McMenamins Grand Lodge and this was one of the closest places to park our Casita. They have a flat concrete area to park next to the goat and pig barn. The farm area is very picturesque and the pigs and goats and chickens are cool!
