Kevin has a beautiful property and is a generous and gracious host. We had a lovely, relaxing time paddling on the Umpqua, enjoying the dark-sky starry nights, and birdwatching from the deck overlooking the river. Our dog had free run of the fenced campsite, which was awesome. Kevin provides thoughtful amenities for great glamping! She went over and above to provide for our needs and I now consider her a friend.
Note: There are irrigation pumps on the river, which were sometimes noticeable. At night though the crickets were the only serenade we noticed. This is not wilderness camping, however, we recommend it highly for a farm country, river experience with great hosts.
A beautiful setting for camping with family! We enjoyed the deck & view of the Umpqua, kayaking, swimming, birds & wildlife, stargazing. And berry picking! Warm hospitality and a very peaceful time. Thank you for sharing your property with us, we are looking forward to returning!
We had the best time! Kevin is a gracious and thoughtful host. The campsite is set under a beautiful canopy of trees to provide shelter from the sun yet there is plenty of open space for sun lovers. The tent pad is super comfortable; the deck area well-appointed with a grill and patio table. There is easy access to the river with kayaks for your use. We highly recommend this site and will stay here again. Thanks Kevin for sharing your farm with us.
