The Davies/Rowan Ranch has been in the family since the late 1800s. The Davies were an Oregon Trail Family that settled in Portland as hoteliers and decided to open up the Davies Ranch as the Trout Creek Villa, a two day horseback trek from Portland would see guests housed in the Villa, which burned down in the 1920s, and sleeper cabins nestled in the woods. After a night or two of rest they would be led by guides into the backcountry on horseback to camp in the wilderness of the cascade range. Now it's your turn to be an Oregon Pioneer in our old growth forest that time has forgot.
