Reconnect with nature and escape the heat on our 28 acre filbert orchard, better known as hazelnuts. On hot summer days you’ll find the temperature under the orchard canopy almost 10 degrees cooler at the heat of the day. Feel free to roam the orchard, play a little hide and seek, hang up a hammock, or bring a blanket and picnic. Within walking or bicycle distance are fantastic amenities including Aurora Colony Vineyards, Pheasant Run Tasting room (Friday summer concerts), Aurora Colony Pub (acoustic Thursday), Filbert Farmhouse Restaurant, White Rabbit Bakery, a local park and lots of antique stores. Within driving distance are tons of wineries, breweries, distilleries and the Woodburn Outlet Mall. Here to visit wine country? Loved the tranquility of the orchard. Occasional startling hazelnut bombs, but otherwise so peaceful. Good hot water supply in outdoor shower with a chorus of crickets chirping in the background as the sun set. Very friendly host.

Peaceful setting, amazingly friendly hosts, wonderful conveniences (flush toilets, shower, wash sink) - so absolutely fantastic!!!!!!

This was a really amazing place. It was so serene. Loved how organized the site was and the flushing toilet and outdoor shower were top notch. Definitely would recommend to others.

Directions to the site were easy to follow as was finding my site. The toilets were clean and within an easy walk. Nice area to be able to walk my dog. I only overnighted as I was on my way further north but would stay here again.

Decent spot
I needed a place for a night south of Portland and this was a great find, not too far off I-5 but quiet and private spot. Pretty much what they list is what you get, good price.
