Tent camping on the Umpqua River
Terrific hosts who are working hard to ensure all guests are comfortable and have access to extras. The sites are a little close together and smaller than we expected but all very well maintained.

Site #1 is great
The river access from these campsites was amazing. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. The site reservation system through Hipcamp is still being worked out on their end- we had reserved a site online and when we arrived, it was no longer available, and we were offered a less-private, smaller site. That site and most of the other ones are quite close to one another, but the hosts kindly allowed us to stay in site #1, which was by far the most private and spacious.

Tent camping on the Umpqua River
Pros: Beautiful location, hosts couldn't have been nicer, well maintained, good communication, and good amenities.
Cons: The campsites are way too close together, no one in our group had ever seen sites this close. There should be about 6 spaces they've made into 10. You can hear the conversations of multiple campsites around you, and vice versa. The aerial view makes it look like there are small trees between the sites, but they are bushes/shrubs that are maybe 2 feet tall tops.
Overall: Would definitely recommend this place as long as you don't mind the close company. We had a blast, beautiful views and nature, not far from many good hikes, etc.

Nice little getaway and the hosts are awesome. Great place for fishing especially if you have a lil fishing boat. Be prepared for a lot of sand everywhere.
