Rooper Ranch is a working organic vegetable farm located in beautiful Central Oregon. The yurt has 2 full beds and a futon that can comfortably sleep 4-5 people. Beautiful views of the Cascade Mountains and close to Smith Rock State Park. Bend is a 20 minute drive and endless recreational opportunities are very close.The Yurt is situated on a grassy hillside with incredible views of the Cascade Mountains. This space comfortably sleeps 4 people and is equipped with basic solar power.

Beautiful yurt

Group trip

The yurt was clean and had plenty of comfortable options to sleep for the four of us. We didn’t want to stay in another hotel so it was a great alternative as it is an easy trip from Highway 97. Amy, the hostess, was easy to communicate with and We enjoyed staying on a farm. I would definitely stay here again but would bring my own propane stove if I was staying longer. I was very impressed with how close Smith Rock and other great attractions were.

We needed a place to stay after the music festival at the fairgrounds and this was absolutely perfect! Clean and comfortable ❤️

Cute spot beautiful scenery

The Yurt was clean and the beds were comfy! Amy the host was nice and easy to work with. She left a cooler with some beverages which was very nice on a hot summer day. The downside was that it was a hot summer day and we couldn’t really be in there mid day. A fan might have made it more comfortable but not sure. We also unfortunately were woken up at around 3am with dogs barking for hours without stopping. Overall I’d say I would book again!
