Notice of weather slowly changing. In the rainy season the river does come up and gets pretty high after December We flood out a bit in Jan/ feb. I just want out of town folks to be aware. Not a safe place for small children during that time. I do welcome long term camping in the rainy season for a lower price.. We are 2 miles down a gravel road from Hwy 42 you will find yourself able to drive a 40' skoolie or rv down to this location. We now have a composting toilet and Shower! Easy access to back in or pull in and be 20' from the river. This site does have 110 outlets and water access from river with pump, small fire pit and camp chairs, I am working on a picnic table, coming soon. The river has some big fish and a little bit of a sandy beach area depending on the tide. Shade trees or sun you have both and summers are very nice out here. No bears or cougars in the area, usually a racoon or possum or fox. Over all very quiet and peaceful. Gets warm down by the river out of the wind so come prepared. My property line is the rocks, please keep on my property. Thank you.Riverview camp is sitting down in a beautiful valley right next to the wonderful Coquille river with your own personal river access trails, One with steps, the other all sand. Our camp is perfect for those who prioritize a spectacular view, privacy away from other campers, and proximity to town and recreation opportunities such as fishing and kayaking. There is a firepit with cooking grill, table and chairs along with a children's kayak and Hammock. We currently only have 110 outlets available, water access with a hose, and lastly our composting toilet and hot shower. We welcome self-contained campers as well. There are areas for tents as well. Really private and very spacious site next to the river, kayak supplied! We got our 23' trailer in there with no problem. The place has a really nice fire pit and Jeff even supplied us with a wheelbarrow full of dry wood. Jeff was super accommodating and responsive.

Amazing place! A beautiful lawn with lots of shade, private river access a cool shower and much more, the place feel private and Jeff is an amazing host that really there for if you need him!

Great spot!
This is a sweet spot with a very thoughtful host. I think Jeff would probably try his hardest to fill any request. We appreciated that very much. The picture and other reviews except for one do a good job of giving you an idea of the property. To address the one that said the house is 40ft away was not true it's across the road and up a bit. The front faces a different direction and we really never heard them. Except when my dog ran over to greet his dogs! So sorry about that Jeff! His three well behaved dogs were great about the trespass as was Jeff and Otis was promptly put back on leash. We took a thin cable and ran it across camp and he was tied to run unless we were going down to the river. It worked out great. We didn't use the shower or latrine but both were clean. The drive to 7 devils recreation area and beach, Bandon, Coos Bay or Charleston are all under 1/2 an hour. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Thank you Jeff!

Great camping spot! Super quiet private setting along the river. Outdoor toilet and shower are major bonus. Jeff was very accommodating and quick to respond.

very beautiful site and awesome water access but the host house is rite across the dirt road not even 40 feet from to camp site so altogether very great site NOT good privacy

Sweet spot
My daughter called it “glamping”. It was very nice to have a site complete with an outdoor shower, chairs, firepit, hammock, and a pack-it-out toilet. At night the cows really get mooing and making other noises which kept scaring my dog, but that’s the only drawback we experienced. Otherwise it’s a very lovely place to camp!
