Rivendell on Bear Creek offers a very private and quiet stay with year round stream and a small cottage for not so camping glamping. This woodland seclusion is perfect for couples romantic or solo camping events and is close to BLM. There is power on the property but not at every location ....its the perfect place to sneak into nature and only an hour from the Oregon coast. Come check it out ...pet friendly but please pick up after your pets. Thank you 😊...please stay left upon entering the shared driveway at RivendellRivendell on Bear Creek offers a cabin with a queen bed and a large outdoor deck. There is a year round creek that is great for summer soaking when temperatures heat up. This site is especially great for group camping opportunities. It has power and an outhouse so its not totally off grid but makes camping easy with multiple tent site locations as well. Close to Mckenzie and Willamette rivers for year round fishing adventures. Great place to honeymoon as town is but a few minutes away for dining and laundry should you need those services. Have fun be safe pack it in pack it out.

Take a break from the world!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the cabin on Obediah’s land! We felt relieved to escape in to nature for a few days. nature. Expectations and directions leading up to our stay were well communicated, and Obediah was a wonderful host.

Rivendell on Bear Creek

Obediah was extremely nice, responsive, and accommodating. I had trouble finding the place in the dark and he immediately responded and assisted me, as well as checking on me during the trip. He was very kind and flexible in my arrival and check out days. As for the stay, the cabin is quite cozy. The bed is very comfy, the deck is nice, and the creek is a comforting sound. I did wish the windows had coverings on them even though I was alone on the property, at night it feels exposing. Outhouse was well-made, and not a spider in sight either! Outdoor shower was quite nice and very warm even in 45 degree weather. Prepare for no cell service at the cabin. I was on this trip for business and wasn't aware there wouldn't be service, so it was frustrating. Overall, I recommend this stay.
