Camp in the Forest Retreat

We loved camping here. June was awesome and friendly and checked in on us, which I loved. Lots of places to swim up the road.

The setting was beautiful, tall trees, lots of cover and privacy. Easy to get to but felt remote in a pleasing way.

Camp in the Forest Retreat

My friends and I had a great time here. The campgrounds were a pretty good distance away from each other so there was a lot of privacy. The owners were also very nice and came by to say hello and let us know about some stuff to do around the area. Plus the price is very reasonable. The “bathroom” is kinda funky it’s a tent with a bucket. So be mindful of that. I would visit again! :)

Friendly hosts. Good communication. Nice basic site in the shade. About a 1/4 mile to river access next to the Row River Road bridge.

Camp in the Forest Retreat

Semi-private, drive to water access

Nice place to drive through trailer camp. (34 foot trailer + F150). Cannot see anyone, it can hear voices (toddlers), dogs and farm animals. You will need to drive to access water, but did feel safe and dogs could run free. Host was nice and stopped by once to say “hello” and check in.
