Peaceful beauty in the country! Glamping on 17 acres in Oregon's wine country. You will be neighbors to our chickens, ducks, rooster, wild turkeys, pileated woodpecker, great blue Heron and more.   Many unfinished cob buildings cover our property, that have been built (and continue to be worked on) in our natural building workshops.  Only a half hour drive to both Eugene and Corvallis. One hour to the coast and only 2 hours to Portland. We are surrounded by many wineries, all closer than 10 miles away. Bennett winery, that is less than 2 miles away, even offers live music and a different food truck every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We are close to both Fernridge reservoir and Triangle Lake, for fishing, boating, and swimming. NEW!! SIGN UP FOR OUR NATURAL BUILDING EXPERIENCE!

Naturally Marvellous
I chose to come here because I was curious to see how a completed cob house would function. What I would like to say is that despite a few small cracks around doors and occasionally being surprised by a bug, it was a perfect experience. People should know what a serious feat it is to build so many things into and for the cob walls. The time and thought it took to fit or build unconventional doors, strategically build in shelves and windows is an act of love. I really enjoyed the craftsmanship and especially loved the beautiful bathhouse, the lights in the bathroom and LOVED how warm and toasty everything was with just the one wood stove. We were all surprised at having to take our sweatshirts off when it was so chilly outside. The homey touches of extra pillows, rugs and lots of lights were comforting. I would definitely recommend coming if you want to enjoy some peace, separate from the busy life but still want some creature comforts. Thank you for making it such a beautiful place and sharing it with everyone!

Cob Country Cottage
Fantastic stay in this lovely earthen dwelling. The land and buildings are beautiful, the host super accommodating and communicative, and the area around the house just beautiful. Got out for a great hike at nearby Alsea Falls, slept in the cozy loft, and sat in front of the wood stove for hours. Quirky, but really enjoyable for a few nights away. Strongly recommend staying here.

Cob Country Cottage
We loved staying at the Cob Cottage! It was a peaceful, bright, and unique experience to stay there. A lot of intention was put into the land and space making it the perfect place to celebrate our sweet friend’s birthday! The hot coffee on the cool morning under the grape vines overlooking the herb garden into the fruit trees made for a soothing start to the day. The inside of the cottage lent itself to connection, board games, and laughter! Thank you Chloe, we’ll definitely be back!

Cozy nature retreat
Gorgeous earth home nestled in the trees . The round walls and intuitive design felt cozy and enchanted. Our needs felt anticipated with the bedding , blankets , water pitcher in the fridge. Kitchen was fun and easy to cook in . Host Chloe stopped by to greet and answer questions. Nice private backyard with campfire was perfect for late night star gazing. Super charmed and want to make this a regular retreat!

Beautiful work in progress
Really amazing that they built this place with their hands! It’s an awesome space and they gave us vegetables and fruit to say sorry for the WiFi not working. While we really enjoyed our stay and the host was very kind, we did stay while they were renovating the space. I think we obviously experienced things out of the norm so there seemed to be some room for improvement on home security (doors/locks/windows).
