Our place is 28 acres, and you can camp anywhere. We can host many people but only want one group at a time. Keep in mind that winter brings snow, and we have a small bridge to cross and a slanted driveway. We are open year-round but make sure your tires can handle our terrain. Reserve a spot and then add any additional tents/rv/vehicles used for sleeping, that will be with you as an additional guest. You can also add extra sleeping structures under the extra tab. Huge windy driveway can accommodate rv campers. A creek runs through the front of the property year-round. Cleared spots available in the non-snow months are small so tent camping only. It is densely wooded. We do have goats in this field. but they are generally shy. Camping areas that people have liked are up top by the top field gate, or down in the field that our large chicken coop is in. There are no large animals in those areas, but chickens do make noises. Up top we have roosters that make noise about 5 am. the lower field on the right is the quietest. The bridge at the entrance to our property is 11' wide, which should allow a standard 8' RV to pass into the property. If you own an extra-wide RV's you should check its width before booking. Extra-wide RV's can park outside the property if you just need a place to park. Look us up on Facebook under Micone Ranch. See daily events and animals! :)We are close to the Vale Oregon exit on I-84. We also are close to the Highway 201. The Ontario exits are near and provide shopping and eating options. Day use campground is 10 min from us and has access to put boats into the river. Camping is allowed anywhere on the property. The best spots to camp are by the creek (access through the lower field,) Lower field, or in the backyard area near the house and upper field. Near the lower field off the paved long driveway is an area with blocks you can set a camper if you want to detach it from your rig. If you use the circular drive and turn around to face the field you will hardly notice the house at the top of the hill. Come enjoy camping like it was meant to be quiet and part of the land. We want to provide a quiet option for campers other than crowded camp grounds with other people. Groups of people are welcome as long as they are all together. On our property you will have only your group of campers. That could be two people in a car driving through or a family or church group gathering. Additional guest fee is actually additional tent/rv fee. The only way to ensure one group of people who know each other was to make one spot and add tents or additional rv as an additional guest. Does not matter how many are in the tent or rv. Only the structure is charged for. Cars only count if it’s what you are sleeping in. Micone Ranch
Convenient spot for travelers
We stayed one night and selected a site down by the creek to set up a tent next to our car. This spot had a lot of birdsong and running water -- and most importantly it was less windy! We didn't get any goat visitors, but that is a possibility. Here, we were pretty far from the house and camped primitively. It was also one of the flat spots available, with the others being closer to the house in the "back yard" or maybe at the top of the hill in the back field if you have the right kind of rig. The description made note of the ability to use in-house facilities (toilet, shower), but it was unclear if this was current info. The greeter did not mention it, and it was not obvious. I did not ask him about it, but I'd ask the owner if you need these services. We did see the outdoor toilet facilities, but the wind had the tarp flapping, so privacy would have been comically impossible. We were thrilled to purchase a couple dozen eggs, which were washed and needed refrigeration. We did have a fridge, but I'm noting this as a difference from the main description. They were delicious!!! This spot was convenient from the freeway, which still can be heard from the site. It did seem pretty quiet over night, though, so we slept well. I hope this helps round out the description. If you expect to be pretty self contained and primitive, this spot can work great--and did for us!

Welcoming farm
I felt welcomed and enjoyed my night at Wicome Farm with Tamara's kind hosting. It is close to a well travelled highway so do bring earplugs. I liked the location at the far eastern edge of Oregon and was ready to explore Idaho after camping here. The piglets were entertaining up in their roomy enclosure.
