Lucky 9 Chicken “Ranch” is nestled in old Ponderosa trees & Junipers on a half acre south of town. This Shabby Chic 80's vintage camp trailer offers a peaceful, private space to land and stay cool during the long summer Central Oregon evenings. You can relax in the evening in front of the fire pit or wake up with coffee to the clucking of the chickens. A small kitchen garden sits next to a rustic ol chicken yard and the canal flows sweetly at the back of the property. A little off the beaten path, and yet still only 10 min to downtown bend where all the bustling music, food and entertainment is going 24/7.Sleep in our Shabby Chic vintage 80’s camper. A comfy, cozy full bed, & a kitchen dinette that can convert into 1 bed to accommodate a young person. Stove, sink, fridge, heater, toilet and shower are all included inside this adorable lil camper! All kitchen amenities provided should you want to stay in a cook a meal while enjoying the peace and solitude.

Such a cute place and spot! Wendee was very responsive as we booked pretty last minute. We enjoyed our dip in the canal out back and the very comfy bed as weary backpackers. Definitely can get hot in the middle of the day in the summer so just something to keep in mind if you are like us and have a dog.

The chickens provided entertainment

Overall a great experience! But it could have been better. Our host, Wendee was very friendly and accommodating. Before my wife and I arrived she announced the newly installed fridge wasn't working and was awaiting a part. Wendee went out of her way to provide a cooler of ice. We had food in our coolers and her provisioning fresh ice was a perfect solution for us. The trailer is situated on a wooded suburban lot at the entrance of her long driveway among trees, quiet neighbors and above all, private. We found the outdoor fire pit & seating relaxing after our long drive. And the chickens provided entertainment freely roaming outside their coop. The trailer was clean and nicely appointed with a bottle of local wine, chocolate and snack food. It has a basic equipped kitchen (included a Keurig for coffee & tea) and an efficient, functional bathroom. We found nothing to want. The sleeping area is a full size mattress with adequate firmness and not uncomfortable. However, I was not able to sleep through the night because the tilt of the trailer elevated my feet. The trailer also easily rocked when walking across the floor. Being RV owners I know that these issues are fixable with stabilizers, chocking of the wheels and maintaining even tire pressure. Given Wendee's attention to detail throughout the trailer (and in the midst of replacing the fridge), I feel these issues would be addressed quickly. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this HipCamp.

Great little RV-Close to town,comfy

Wendee's place was absolutely wonderful! It was easy to find, and very comfortable. It was very close to town as well. I slept great - bed was perfect and comfortable. There is running water, heat (if you need it), and electricity. Cute and perfect for my visit to Bend.
