Indian creek is a beautiful spot on the Elk River that's named after a creek that runs from the mountains into the river. It's located on 200 acres of land that is used to run cattle year round. While visiting you will meet our horse Iggy. She loves to be admired and is very photogenic. She also loves to be pet and fed apples or carrots. Just a 1/4 mile up the road is our family owned and operated RV Park which give access to restrooms, showers, laundry room, wifi, ice, and propane. This spot has been our familys private paradise but we have decided its time to share this amazing spot with others so come enjoy privacy, beautiful views and the music of birds, the river running and trees rustling in the wind.This site is located directly on the beautiful Elk River. You can throw a tent up on the sandy part of the gravel bar or park your RV at the entrance in the field surrounded by mountains. It's our secret swimming hole with a rock to jump off and a large gravel bar to relax in the sun. We have decided it's time we share it with others and let them experience the paradise. Just a 1/4 mile up the road is our family's owned and operated campground which has restrooms, showers, wifi, ice, and propane. Bring your own portable toilet if u can to save the drive up to the RV park.

Camping by the cows!

Absolutely loved this spot! We will definitely be back. About as private as it gets. We had a 40' 5th wheel and had no problems navigating to the site. Being right on the river is another bonus!

Beautiful, quiet spot in pasture, steps away from a nice fishing hole. Working ranch with cattle. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Short drive from town of Port Orford. It is a working cattle ranch, there are a few cow pies here and there are gates that needs to open/shut as you enter and leave the property.

We had a great time at Miranda’s private camping spot! The access to the beautiful creek was an added cherry on top. It was relaxing, peaceful and a wonderful escape. The stars at night were breathtaking! We will definitely be back!! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful land with us. :)

Gorgeous river sanctuary

What a heavenly spot! Well worth the longer drive from Portland. Miranda was very accommodating when we arrived later than expected and the site was clean, private and most of all absolutely stunning. Some of the clearest water I’ve seen in Oregon and some of the brightest stars in the sky. We could see the Milky Way! Plus, the friendly cows came close to our campsite and watched as we cooked dinner. We loved them. I would definitely recommend and I hope to come back next summer!

Amazingly beautiful site along a quiet river. Plenty of room to level the van. Private spot close to town and highway. Would definitely stay again!
