The flora and fauna of the forest is abundant and diverse. This land is home to many native grasses, ferns, and berries, wild flowers, as well as many other edible and medicinal plants and numerous varieties of mushrooms. If you are visiting during blackberry or apple season, feel free to pick, pick, pick and indulge.
Being located within a short drive from so many beautiful points of interest, this property is perfect for anyone exploring Southern Oregon.The Holistic Hideaway primitive cabin sits nestled amongst some trees and blackberry bushes. With beautiful views of the mountains and sunset, its always a pleasure to sit out front and relax. The cabin features a fold down bed, perfect for any twin-size air mattress. There is no electric or running water in the cabin, but there is a spicket with a hose located right out back of the cabin. Two chairs, a fire pit, and charcoal grill are located out front, and make for a great time. If it's the season, take a walk and pick some blackberries, grapes or grab an apple from one of the many trees. As long as there is not a fire ban, enjoy a nice cozy fire in the fire pit. Firewood is available for purchase at the farm, so no need to drag it in. Currently there is no bathroom for use, so you must bring a portable camp toilet. Right out front of the cabin are a few raised beds, with some amazing peppermint growing. Help yourself to some and make a nice uplifting tea. The cabin is located a very short distant from the parking area, on easy terrain, with a very slight incline. The cabin is semiprivate, located a short distance from the main house on the property. There is plenty of room to pitch a tent as well. There is a garbage can on the property to dispose of any waste you may accumulate during your stay. Please pack out anything you bring in. Here at Holistic Harmony farms do not like to put rules in place, seeing as life is just one great journey. Please just be kind and respectful of the property, plants and wildlife. Please keep in mind this is a working farm, and to avoid any areas you may see active work occurring. Please enjoy the property, take a walk, look at the trees, enjoying the greenhouse full of herbs, observe the veggies and wander through the orchard.
