This is a true gem for my Cancerian soul. Camping in a majestic forest, directly next to a crystal clear and clean river. We camped with our two children and they were in awe of the beauty and bounty of nature there. Daniel was a great host and greeted us with all the necessary information and even went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of during an unusual rainy August weekend. Will definitely be back.

Site was great!! swimming spot was perfect. Great location and cool exploring around the area. The cook top was kind of weak so took us a while to boil water. if you are looking to make coffee, you might want to bring your own stove. But, overall it was great!

Feeling the Afterglow

Daniel, his family, and their property is a dream. We had a large group of 30+ and he was more than accommodating. He was very communicative and informative from the start. He always checked in just to make sure we were happy and was incredibly generous and helpful when we forgot extension cords and showed up with missing pieces to our shade structure. They take great care of the land and had so many great recommendations for hikes or activities around the area.
The site itself is fantastic with a big open field near the river for trailers/RV’s and overflow camping. This area has a great view of one of the mountians, high above the river, where the moon shines and during solstice our large group may have went a bit primitive and howled for a few minutes. On the other side is a fantastic area surrounded by towering trees and this is where most of us camped and spent our communal time. The giant griddle Daniel provided was perfect and helped so much when cooking for a large group. We had a few people in the RV and they said it was clean, comfortable and having the working fridge was a huge help in keeping food cold. There were a couple bell tents and the beds were super comfortable. These are more glamping style and for the ultimate in relaxation with the sounds of running water, be sure to check out the River’s Edge site bell tent. We really enjoyed our time here and look forward to coming back next year.
