The property is located on Enola Hill in the Mt. Hood National Forest just above Rhododendron off Hwy 26 before Government Camp. It's a beautiful spot and totally secluded only 1 of 2 private properties surrounded by Forest Service land. It is a journey getting there on the 3 mile Forest Service Road it's located on as it's rough. It's worth the journey if you have the means of getting there. Totally secluded and private camping surrounded by Mt. Hood National Forest with Mt. Hood view!! Group camping available on our 80 acre private property surrounded only by Mt. Hood National Forest. Beautiful meadow with stunning view of Mt. Hood and surrounding mountains. Camp in the meadow, wake up to deer and watch the sun rising behind Mt. Hood. Large communal fire pit. This is truly a unique camping opportunity for small or large groups. Feels like you are on top of the world away from it all. Great place to unplug and unwind...Year round creek access on property to cool off especially during the Summer months. Our property is accessed through a 3 mile rough gravel forest service road that's bumpy. Vehicles with some ground clearance such as a truck or SUV recommended to navigate poorly maintained road. Please see other campers' reviews regarding the road up to the property...We've been traveling this road for several years and find it quite manageable ourselves (in a Tahoe and pickup truck). Amazing Fall Camping 🌲🍂🏔️
A wonderful property for a quiet time away! Easy to locate, Rachel was helpful with clear instructions to access the property, and secluded. Everything we could ask for. The September morning welcomed us with fog creeping around the trees. The perfect cozy autumn experience! While the road was a little rough, it was much more manageable than other sites we've been to. Just take your time and you will be just fine.

Great stargazing
Large open property with great view of Mt Hood and foothills. At the end of road is a trailhead but there is not a lot of traffic. The road is like many forest service roads-single lane and pothole-ridden. Had no problem navigating it with the Subaru, but did take about 20 min to go 3 miles so going back and forth was not a real desirable situation. As others have commented, the space is private with a really nice outhouse. This is a great space to let dogs off leash, have a large group, or just enjoy time with your S. O. The stars are amazing at night.

Gorgeous location on top of a forest road with excellent views. Forest Road to the property was very long and definitely requires 4WD. Unfortunately, this location was too remote for me and my family and we moved to another nearby Hipcamp instead.

Enola Hill at Mt. Hood
Beautiful piece of property that’s perfect for group camping. There’s lots of room to spread your group out for quiet and privacy. The view of the mountain is perfectly framed from the picnic tables near the fire ring. We walked quite a distance along the gravel road away from the entrance, picking blackberries and enjoying the rhododendrons and fox glove. The outhouse is super clean. The directions from the owner were very clear and she was easy to communicate with. We’ll look forward to coming back!
