Our farm is nestled at the end of Honey Grove Valley in the lush coastal mountains. The creek meanders through our seven acre property. The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove trail leads out of the property accessing seven miles of hiking and mountain bike trails. Nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Fishing access to the Alsea River is located 1.5 miles from the property on Honey Grove Road. The guest cabin has two rooms and can sleep (4) guests comfortably and up to (6) guests. It contains (2) queen size beds, one pull out couch, and an optional futon mattress and a fold out single bed. One bed is in a loft accessed by a ship ladder. There is a small kitchen and attached bathhouse. The toilet is non-flush, composting. From the designated parking area there is a 200 foot walk along a gravel path to the cabin. Other features include a fire pit, wood heated sauna, and creek access. Internet is available in the cabin. There is a Level 2 vehicle charger available for guests. The property also contains a host residence. The area around the residence is for the hosts. The cabin and the property are very quaint and inviting but also very rustic. Do not be surprised to see a few spiders and other bugs, the occasional bunny, wild turkeys, Garter Snakes by the ponds and newts on the trails. Please maintian good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherant hazards. Barn is off limits. Greenhouse and gardens are fine to explore as long as doors and gates are closed and dogs are kept out. Please refreain from harvesting produce and/or eggs unless accompanied or given permission from hosts directly.The creek makes a bend around the cabin. Salmon spawn there during the late fall. Fry and juveniles are present during the summer months. There are paths around the cabin for exploration. It has an attached bathhouse with a shower and composting toilet.

Creekside Cabin

This place was wonderful! Felt private, hosts were courteous and helpful. The best part was the hiking trail directly behind the house. Would definitely stay again!

Great little retreat

Creekside Cabin

Jesse's cabin is an amazing retreat for anyone solo or in a group. The cabin itself expresses the creativity of the creator. The beds were much more comfortable than mine at home too! There are numerous trails and a beautiful bridge in view from the cabin. The sauna works great and has easy access to a fresh water creek where fish spawn. The water is super clean. My dog was extremely content on the property. We picked fresh strawberries plentifully and the host furnished us with fresh farm eggs from their coop. The property is a nice distance to the ocean or to the willamette valley placing you in a convenient location for any day trip. The cabin is a perfect place for any couple, solo adventurer, or kiddos.

Creekside Cabin

I loved staying here! It was rustic in the best way. The property is so intertwined with the surrounding nature with a creek and trails right out the cabin door. The wooded surroundings and the stream kept it cool which was so refreshing, and a sauna + creek session in the evening is super relaxing. It’s a very peaceful place with endless opportunities for adventure. The cabin itself was so cozy and bright and the kitchen was stocked with essentials which is awesome when traveling. Only wish we could have stayed longer! Absolutely recommend this space.

Creekside Cabin

Lovely FUN Getaway!

We really had an amazing time at the Cabin. The Cabin was very comfortable, with all the amenities. We had a full kitchen, bathroom, comfortable beds and bedding and a lovely kitchen nook to eat together and play games. The Cabin was hand constructed with skilled workmanship and lots of love, and it is a light filled place to be. We had a place to make a little fire for roasting marshmallows and hiking trails right outside the door. The trail takes you to old growth forest not far away and the little stream, which the cabin is built next to, lulled us to sleep with its watery whispers. I would highly recommend this as a nature getaway to relax and be.

Beautiful cabin in serene forest

Really beautiful rustic cabin in the forest. Great trail and babbling brook right outside the cabin, cool architecture and very cozy with everything you need! Even has a sauna, a fire pit and a disc golf basket. Stay here!
