It was very quiet and peaceful . Angel and Norma were wonderful and friendly hosts . The view of the lake is spectacular for the people who rent the cabins . The beach is nice and Sandy and clean .
We stayed at Tiny village Parry sound during labour day long weekend. The site is amazing with a nearby beach. The stay included kayaking that we could borrow anytime. Showers and outhouses were clean and well maintained. We definitely look forward to visiting this site again.
The location was very private and secluded - and right on the Ottawa River, which was very nice. The ‘campground’ seems to be someone’s private camp, with an extended yard area set up to accommodate 4 or 5 campers. Our site was a bit tight backing in - 24’ Sprinter Van - as the road itself was very narrow with nooo shoulders.
Our just sent an email a couple of weeks prior to our arrival apologizing - that she would not be on site to greet us, but an associate would be there. After replying would would not arrive until about 4PM, email asked what time we were arriving and said friend would be there until 1;
Also apologized for grass not being mowed.
We arrived after driving thru a couple downpours. No one was on site - grass was long and wet, and the firewood left for us (about 5 pieces) was well seasoned, to the point it was was damp, large pieces, and hard to kindle.
We loved the privacy - can’t stress that enough, but well off the beaten path; and needs a bit more attention to property and clientele.
Clean, easy access to the lake, friendly managers!! Relaxing and quiet! The seasonal campers are very friendly and helpful. Love this campground. We will be back next year!!
The staff were friendly the place well kept. The directions and where the description is, are 2 different things. It's not in Tiny ont. It's almost 2 hours past. We were expecting 3 hr drive but had a 4 1/2hr dr. The out trip we planned was to be less than an hour away, turned out to be 2 hrs away one way. No wifi. 11.oo dollars for 4 pieces of wood. Pics showed we would be on the lake, not so. We were at the back of the property where their work sheds were situated. We would probably never book there again. Expensive for what you get.
