A little haven of warmth and relaxation.
Turn off the main road and head down a long, private drive leaving the highway noise behind. A massive, 22 acre property greets you offering 453 feet of shoreline and beautiful views of Pinus Lake. The lakeside amenities include a sandy beach, multiple docks, private boat launch, and a viewing platform to catch those breathtaking sunrises. Additionally, there are several walking trails throughout the property, a grass playing field and lots of shady areas to relax and enjoy quiet moments. Our RV sites are truly massive and spread out far apart from each other. Your space is truly your space when you stay at The Citadel Private Retreat.

The Citadel RV Site #3
We brought our trailer to site #1, which was large and private. Our host met us when we got in and was really nice. The area is really beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

The Citadel RV Site #3
My husband and I chose the citadel for our honeymoon and it was perfect! We have been together for nearly a decade already, and so we wanted to do something we enjoyed together, and the RV we rented fit perfectly into the plans for the wedding. We drove 20 hrs from Alexandria Ontario to get there. It was worth it and we would come again, without a doubt. If you are in a larger RV, site 2 is likely the way to go for you. Site #1 is nice and private but looked like it was just tenting with no hookups. Site #4 looked awesome for a small rig. We were super happy with our site though, site #3. We had a nice firepit at the top of a hill that looked down on the beautiful lake. We got lucky during our stay and it was super isolated. We only had neighbors on our last night. We were able to rent a canoe for a great rate, and took our first canoe ride together. My husband is not usually one for these kind of things but the lake is so beautiful and peaceful that he was excited to go. They also have a lovely infrared sauna and yoga room, which I enjoyed alone once, and once with my husband. He is now a fan. I loved the chromotherapy. Grahame was a friendly and helpful host. He was there to greet us and help us get settled. Overall, a wonderful place for couples and families. The cabins looked awesome too! Next time maybe :) Oh! And there us a cute hot tub outside by the lake. I couldn't convince my husband to go, but if you like hot tubs, give that one a try!

The Citadel RV Site #1
This was our first time camping at the Citadel and it was perfect. We were greated by Graham and taken to our site on a well treed property. Site was very spacious with lake view. 30 Amp.. Sewer and water hook up. My wife pointed out that the signage was well thought out. We used the hot tub every day. Wow in my 30 years of camping it is the first time that I have a hot tub and hopefully not my last. We also booked the sauna that also has a place to do yoga. You can bring your cell phone in and put it a special case so your Bluetooth can play music over the speakers. We rented canoes that had a backrest that allowed us to fish for hours Washroom was clean an modern. Even the weather was good lol
