Welcome to Restoule!
We have 60 acres of very private camping. Our land is a bird watcher’s and nature lover’s paradise. We have loads of trails and a 2500ft canal that leads to Commanda lake. There is an abundant amount of wildlife to explore: birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects and mammals.
The site and trails are well maintained and the forest is quiet and beautiful. Guests can enjoy hiking, biking, wildlife watching, and so much more!
Our property is family and pet friendly, designed specifically for those who really enjoy camping without 1500 neighbors and a fun o'clock switch.Pitch a tent or bring the travel trailer and ATV's. There is room for both. Oak Ridge site is located at the top of our 60 acres of private forest. The property boasts a 2500ft man made canal that leads to natural and undeveloped lake frontage. The site is situated amongst the oaks on the upper ridge of our forest. The acorns attract a lot of wildlife...deer are a plenty. Log benches surround the stone firepit for those late night guitar sessions that camping is so famous for. Plenty of room on the sand pad site for multiple sleeping tents or dining tents. For all RV's and trailers, it is a back in site. The site has its own split door lighted outhouse for those who like to watch nature while taking care of nature! There is a local spring here in town where fresh water can be collected.
Restoule provincial park is 10 minutes away. Use of a provincial park day pass is included with site bookings. (beaches, showers, laundry) Quality well seasoned firewood is available at additional and reasonable cost. Local firewood only please. 1000's of acres of crown land are only minutes away. The local crown land ATV trail system is extensive and does not require special permits. ATV's may be driven in and out of the site via the driveway; however ATV use is restricted to the site driveway only. Not the 60 acres or the site sand pad. Crown land trails are only minutes away. The canal and lake frontage are natural vegetation shorelines. Kayaks and canoes can be launched from the canal or lake front. There is a dock at the lake for tying up a fishing boat or just sitting watching the world go by. Walking trails weave all throughout our forest. Please do not harvest anything from our forest... chaga, mushrooms, firewood, burls etc are for viewing.

It was me and my boyfriend’s first time finding a spot for camping, and it was definitely worth it. Beautiful location surrounded by wildlife. For spending most of our time in town it felt very nice to spend time with nature. The owners also supply a pass for the restoule provincial park and we spent a day walking the trails. If you are not in the mood to drive to the park there are some trails connected to the spot. If you forgot to pack anything there is a general store not too far where you can grab items, food, etc. there is plenty of room wether you’re by yourself, with your significant other or out with friends. The owners are very nice folks and we look forward to coming again !

Scott and Nikki have created the perfect spot to relax and unwind! We had a great long weekend here and can’t wait to come back. Outhouse is super clean, and the park pass is an added bonus to this site.
Thank you for a great wild camp, we’ll see you again soon!

Nature lover’s paradise
Tent
Tucked in nicely in the trees we found this beautiful, clean private campsite. The hosts were very accommodating and made sure we knew they were there if we needed anything. Firewood was already there and we really enjoyed all the log seating around the campfire. My husband and I had a great time. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing experience!
Tent
We stayed here for two nights and it was a great trip! Both hosts Nikki and Scott were very kind and generous people. The site was perfect for us and our two giant dogs who got to run free. Out house was very clean and bright (love the dutch door!). I would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking for some wilderness solitude. The town is lovely also everyone was so joyful.
