This place is obviously under new ownership/ management and I believe they’re working hard to upgrade the maintenance, but at this time it is in need of a lot of TLC.

I can't give an honest review because I made a reservation and due to a recent snowfall, the reservation had to be refunded.

Instructions were clear and campground was easy to find. We paid for a serviced lot but because we had hammocks only, they upgraded us to a cabin. Clean, friendly & helpful.

We had a very bad experience. When we booked the site, we were interested by a cabin. The image was shown is a cabin but the description is for an RV site. We went there very late, around 10:30 pm, we were shocked that we have to use only an empty site. We had to find a hotel which was very hectic. Hipcamp has responsibilities on that. The image was completely misleading. Please, read the descriptions before you book.

Clearly, new ownership doesn't mean new management, and this guy isn't the same person as the app connects to. When I drove in, they were hanging out on the porch, and the older guy walked me over to a site that was just fine, with 30amp power and water, if a bit old. Then he tried to get me to pay him, when I paid through the app and he called me sweetheart while trying to making me feel like an idiot who didn’t know how things worked. And in the morning he woke me up around 10:45 and tried to get me to pay him 20 bucks for a late checkout - the app says check out was at 12. If I was younger or more easily swayed I might have been convinced to give him cash. Apparently this place is known to be a bit sketchy according to the girl at Starbucks.
