Welcome to our newly revitalized RV park, nestled along the iconic Route 66, just off I-40 in the heart of western Oklahoma. Originally established years ago, this park had great bones, and in the spring of 2024, we took on the challenge of bringing it back to life. Conveniently located between Oklahoma City, OK, and Amarillo, TX, and just a short drive from Elk City, our park offers a perfect retreat for travelers exploring the historic Mother Road. We've worked hard to preserve the park's vintage charm while adding modern amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our recent upgrades include a fenced-in dog park where your furry friends can roam freely, a cozy sunken fire pit for evening gatherings, and a game area featuring horseshoe, corn hole, and tetherball for family fun. The old office has been completely remodeled, now housing air-conditioned private bathroom and shower for your convenience. We’ve also added an air-conditioned coin laundry room to make your stay even more comfortable. For those looking to explore the outdoors, we offer horseback riding and hunting opportunities on the adjacent ranch property we acquired. As we continue to grow, we’re committed to adding even more features and amenities to enhance your experience. Whether you’re a history buff, an outdoor enthusiast, or just passing through, our park is the perfect stop on your Route 66 adventure. We look forward to welcoming you!

Burl’s land was safe and sweet, he is a very responsive caretaker . The shower was hot and the fresh eggs for sale in the laundry room was a heartfelt touch. Highly recommend

Truck camping with 2 dogs!
The site was very easy to find and we'll maintained. Burl greeted me when I pulled up and made sure I had everything I needed. The pictures don't do this place justice. The bathroom and laundry area have been renovated on the outside (looks green from the picture), there is a communal firpit that is covered, and cornhole games set up as well. Even though it was close to the highway the traffic didn't bother me.

Everything at the RV site was perfect. Man that checked me in was extremely nice. Bathroom clean and warm for showers. For me it was the location. The noise from the frwy was unbearable and no sleep that night. Sounded like the big trucks were coming through my camp.

Burl was a great host. I was moto camping across the country, rent camping every night. When I got to Deep Creek Ranch the wind 25-30 miles an hour. It was nearly impossible to set up my tent, but when I did I was afraid it would be crushed and torn to shreds by the strong winds. Burl allowed me to set up anywhere on his 250 plus acres of property, wherever I could find out of the wind. He even offered to let me hang out in any of the empty buildings or his office until the wind died down. I ended up setting up in a dirt floor carport out of the wind. Once I was set up I was able to wash clothes and take a shower in the provided facilities. It was a good stay and I would recommend without hesitation. Please note that if you are tent camping, you are only a couple hundred yards away from the interstate and trucks go by all night. It didn't bother me but you may want to bring earplugs.

Perfect Stop Over
13 ft campervan ·
This is a perfect little overnight stopover right off of I 40. I plan on stopping here every time I go cross-country. It’s a very simple place. I just hooked up to electricity and water with my van. I think there are 2 full hook ups for RVs, but I’m not sure. The bathroom was in a cute little cabin. You walk into the cabin laundry room, and from there you can go into the bathroom (male-female shared). The bathroom is large with one toilet and a step-in shower. It has both heat and a/c on demand, which is very nice. The dog area looks to me like it has an obstacle course set up, if your dog is so inclined! There is a corn hole game and a tether ball. There also seems to be a little play house for kids. There is a dumpster on the roadside when you leave. This place was very friendly. It’s not fancy, but it is good value for the price, and I will definitely be back on my next cross country trip.

Last Minute Stop
This was an awesome unexpected find. After the local KOA would not pick up and was to late for online reservations. I found this treasure on Hip Camp! Great spot off of 40, easy check in, clean showers and restrooms. Great host. I would highly recommend.
