CAMP near Wichita Mountains
Stay away
Booked 2 sites and paid in full 2 months before dates. Called to check the day before arrival and found out we only had one spot. We did get an extra spot assigned after several emails. Upon arrival the next day the campground was a dump. Spots were dug up dirt and area was very run down. We did not stay and found another park immediately. Only one picture of park and Hipcamp does not inspect campgrounds so ads are misleading on standards.

CAMP Wichita Mountains RV or Tent
I think this campground has a lot of potential and seems like the owners are really trying to make it nice for their guest. The size of the spaces are small…we have a large 5th wheel and it would of been hard getting in the space if there had been trailers in the new spaces they are working on. We had 2 other trailer camping with us and again the spaces are small and hard to gather in the area on the sites. I would suggest a designated dog walking area for future. Talisha communicated well and would recommend a stay.

Loved my stay. Just what I needed, a safe and clean place to pitch my tent near the Wichita Mountains. The host even had firewood ready for us before our arrival.
