Pleasant Valley Farm was originally a working farm with a two-story farmhouse and traditional bank barn, built in the late 1800s. The massive timbers and joinery are constant reminders of the meticulous craftsmanship of the era. Jim and Kathy Grogg purchased Pleasant Valley Farm in 1994 and not only updated the house and barn, but also expanded the lake to its current 13 acres. The large 144-year-old, 2736-square-foot barn is now available for special occasions such as weddings, receptions, birthdays, and reunions.

The Best Place I Have Ever Camped!
My partner and I decided to go on a spontaneous last minute trip to hike some trails in Mohican and sight-see in the area and we absolutely LOVED staying here! We chose lakeside #6 and I’ll admit I was a bit nervous since it had been raining and would continue to rain overnight, however we had absolutely no problem getting in or out of the site! We even slept in the car and did not sink into the grass at all. James was the best host! He met us outside with the cutest dog named Toby & gave us an overview of the property and where to find everything we would need. Definitely a must to stay here if you’re looking for a wonderful retreat of peace and quiet! A bit of soft car noise and we could occasionally see a few headlights on the road nearby but nowhere enough to disturb sleep. There is about a 5 minute walk to the bathroom but the walk itself is so beautiful that I have absolutely no complaints. We will absolutely be back!!!

The lake is great! Canoes available to use. Swimming and fishing also available. Had a great peaceful time to relax.

What a beautiful and charming place! Plenty of campsites but each one still felt private. And the pond was gorgeous. Wish I could have stayed longer to fish or swim. I will definitely be back!
