WE ARE CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. Thank you to all the campers that stayed with us over the 2024 season. Rose Pointe Meadows will welcome campers back starting May 1, 2025. You can book in advance to save your dates for next year. See you in the Spring! Looking for a simply beautiful place to camp in a wildflower meadow? We have just 2 sites available, making this stop a very private camping experience. Rose Pointe Meadow's open skyline makes for clear viewing of lovely sunsets. Stargazing in this dark sky area is a treat! Guests traveling with their canine and equine companions are welcome. Each camp has a fire pit and bench. For an even closer look at the stars, a popular local destination is Geauga Park District's Observatory Park and Nassau Astronomical Station. The Park District has programs featuring their planetarium and night sky viewing with telescopes. There are several vineyards to visit nearby with great food and local wine selection. The Geauga Park District also has excellent mountain bike trails at Big Creek. Additionally, we have Mentor Headlands State Park within a 1/2 hr. drive. Mentor Headlands is a beautiful day at the beach on the shores of Lake Erie. Note: Currently no electric or water at site.

We loved everything about our stay here. Communication with Carolyn & Jeff was easy, quick, helpful and friendly. The site was great, a small tepee of kindling was waiting for us when we arrived for a quick start to a Friday evening campfire. Their meadow was beautiful and serene. We enjoyed a few things local. About 15/20 mins away we dined at Pickle Bills, a wonderful seafood restaurant. We enjoyed checking out Chardon near by. If anyone enjoys single track, we found awesome MTB trails about 15 mins away, Big Creek Park. We have a pull behind camper, 16’ which we tow with an SUV, approximately 35’ total in length. We had zero problems entering through the gate into the meadow to set up camp. We highly recommend staying here and you should absolutely try the honey!!

We loved our quick stay. The honey is AMAAAZING and the hosts were very nice. The campsite was cute, clear to access, and there was a nice little fire ready for us to torch. Highly reccomend!

We had to leave early due to unforeseen circumstances but Carolyn and Jeff were super nice about it! The camp spot was beautiful and felt very private and peaceful. It’s perfect for stargazing or if you’re going to the Great Lake Medieval Faire nearby. We recommend to everyone and will definitely be back again!! :)

Love this peaceful camp! We arrived shortly after a storm came through which made for a beautiful sunset while we settled in. Our visit was short but just what we needed for a relaxing night.
