Three miles to McDonalds and local businesses. Surrounded by the Columbus Metro Park and 2 miles to the Ohio to Erie bicycle trail. Bring your own kayak and enjoy the beauty of the Little Darby creek.Select from primitive to almost glamping. Many are accessible by car (and close to restrooms), others require all/4 wheel drive. Plenty of room for whatever type of camp you are looking for. Gravel parking with large area to turn around and pick just the right spot for your rv or camper. Ohio to erie is 2 miles away. Bison and hiking at the local metro park. 5 miles south of I-70 near west Jefferson exit.

This was such a a special find. We only stayed one short night, but I wish we had several. Jay's property is lovingly maintained and appointed. We travel in a VERY stripped down campervan with no plumbing or indoor cooking options. Having access to bathrooms, a covered shelter, and an indoor place to cook and hang out was amazing. We enjoyed a lovely sunset and lived having plenty of room to stretch out and throw ball with our dog.

Beautiful location and really great group indoor area with fridge, microwave and coffee maker and games to play. The shower was great—water pressure was awesome—and I loved the cute rain shower head made out of a watering can. Great place to stay if you’re passing through Columbus.

Great Camping Experience

Great place to camp! Facilities are top notch and the host, Jay, is very friendly and helpful. The location is great, with a peaceful, quiet, rural atmosphere, but close to urban amenities too. The nearby Metro Parks offer nice hiking and other outdoors activity. For those driving EV's, like us, DC fast charging is available nearby, in Hilliard.

Green trees, green grass, flowers..

Living in a city, it was such a great relief it was just a 36 minutes drive from my home. Jay gave me a tour. I am Deaf, & learned he signs! It's so RARE to meet hearing people who signs fluently. So that was a huge bonus for me personally. Aside that, I was impressed of the lush green grassy land, tall trees, hills full of wild flowers and dragonflies, butterflies and even met a hummingbird. Got to choose a secluded site nestled in a circle of trees. Glorious. Hiking at Metro Battelle Park was a short drive. I will return next year. With gratitude.

Rolling hills and plenty of room

Nice open mowed rolling mowed fields with flat tent spots. Only 5 campers allowed per night so plenty of room in between. Easy location from Hwy 70. Jay is a laid back yet attentive host. The big building with flush toilet and shower was a welcome addition. It’d be a great event space.
