Read more details about all of the amenities of the Bluebell glamping site below under the lodging site information! The 16.5 foot canvas bell tent affectionally called The Bluebell since it is surrounded by Bluebell flowers in the spring, is furnished with beautiful bohemian décor. This home away from home will welcome you to rest and relax in a comfy queen bed with memory foam mattress while you take in views of historic Sycamore trees, blue herons fishing on the river steps away and the sound of a low head dam lulling you to sleep. There is electricity that will power all your devices and lighting both inside and outside the tent. Inside the tent you will also find a camping cot with mattress pad and bedding that can be used for a third guest or as additional seating. An additional padded camping cot can be added for a fourth guest for an additional charge.
The 5 acre property shares our family home and barn. We welcome all guests to enjoy the mulched walking trails throughout the woods. Behind the pole barn you will find Norris Run, a creek that feeds into the Olentangy River, and when crossed will give you access to public state park hiking trails, and breathtaking views of Delaware Lake from the Delaware Dam! We are surrounded by public, protected land: The Delaware State Park behind us, the US Forestry Department across the river and the Delaware Preservation Park River Run canoe/kayak launch site directly across the street.
Outside the tent you will have access to an outdoor kitchen with running water from our well and a small cooking stove with propane. All cookware and dishware will be provided for you along with other kitchen necessities. We also provide a grate to cook over the campfire. A bundle of wood will be provided with the option to purchase additional wood on-site. You’ll also have access to an outhouse with composting toilet steps away.
We promise you’ll feel right at home when you spend a weekend experiencing the beauty of glamping on the river. Don’t forget to bring your fishing pole or binoculars for spotting some of Ohio’s beautiful birds and other wildlife!

The Bluebell is a beautiful site! Along a quiet river with so many nice amenities like lights, a cooktop, dishes, and running potable water it’s a dream! The beds are nice and warm (we stayed twice in the fall)! The whole tent is very spacious and when rain kept us inside, we had plenty of room for some games. The hosts are very responsive and helpful when we need anything. I can’t recommend a stay here enough!

Paradise
This was just what the doctor ordered. This site had everything that you needed for a quite relaxing weekend in nature. The owl calls at night, the deer, song birds, the heron. Having the quick access to the river was great to get a sunrise and sunset paddle in. I am already thinking about when I can visit again!

This place is magical!
Best getaway ever! We got engaged here last fall and came back this year to spend our honeymoon. We were welcomed with a fire already burning in the wood stove and a congratulatory bottle of champagne! What a thoughtful touch, Kacy and Justin, thanks so much.
My wife and I love it here. The space is cozy and inviting and the indoor and outdoor lights make for a such a peaceful ambiance. The sounds of nature and the river provide a relaxing soundtrack. Kacy and Justin have put in a lot of effort and it really shows. The outdoor kitchen, with a grill and running water makes cooking easy and fun. I can't say enough great things about this spot. See you next year!

This is a beautiful camp site on a beautiful river. Kacy and Justine went to great lengths to ensure our comfort, including bringing us a portable fire ring so we could enjoy a campfire by the river. I look forward to staying there again.

Awesome Glamping Experience
My wife and I really enjoyed the whole experience. You can tell they really put in a ton of effort on making the site warm and welcoming. The canvas tent was like a cozy home, so much more comfortable than a regular tent. We were able to easily cook breakfast and make coffee on the outdoor kitchen. There are a ton of outdoor adventures within walking distance as well, and downtown Delaware is just a short drive away. Also the hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive, even after our stay. We will be back again soon!
