Overall it was a nice place. They need to re-evaluate their wood for sale 5$ a bag and a couple bags had only three medium size pieces 75cents worth of wood at my local wood guy on the side of the road by local campground.

Fun solo weekend in the heat.
The grounds is home to larger retreat type events which means they have decent amenities and lots of space. Very helpful staff too although I tried to call the contact # on Sunday morning for some help and VM was full. Not a lot of room to maneuver a tiny camper but tents would be perfect, or be better at backing them up than I am. Despite the heat advisory, the most comfortable spot was at my picnic table in the total shade canopy. Downtown Lancaster has lots going on and lovely hiking all around too. The roads throughout the camp were fun to mountain bike on just to check it all out. Sites are all close to each other and wound be fun for a group.

Big animal cane to our camp at nigh
Restroom situation was not good. No high area to put tent on it rained on the night and water stayed around the sites. Water pump don't have the outlet and water remains witin the camp area if you use much. Fire pit was nice to have with firewood that could be purchased from them. In the night something big animal came in our camp and ate our food. It had big large foot dont know what that was almost vandalized our vehicles.
