Sugar Shack Cabin
Fall Break Sugar Shack
Spent a weekend in the Sugar Shack and it was wonderful! This was the first time my girlfriend and I had done something like this and our expectations were blown away. We are OSU students on Fall Break, so we drove down from Columbus to disconnect. The cabin itself had everything we needed to be comfortable and also to enjoy the outdoors. Some things that we packed but the cabin offered were lanterns (still bring your own), fire starter, fan, lighter, paper towels, blanket, and games. The inside was decorated so nicely and added to the cozy atmosphere. It was hidden away just enough to feel like we had the entire forest to ourselves. The nature trails on site is a must do, especially during the sunset! We most definitely will be coming back and trying to spend the night at all the different sites the property has to offer!

Cedar Sanctuary A-Frame (site 6)
Cedar sanctuary was cozy and comfortable! The campsite around the A-frame cabin is spacious and nicely laid out. We love hanging out at our site during the day and stargazing at night. We especially loved the hammock for cozy afternoon naps. We enjoyed exploring the 20 acre farm via several nature paths. Firewood was easily accessible as were some other goodies from the farm. Aimee was a super responsive host and went above and beyond for us!

Site 4 (juniper meadow)
My girlfriend and I went camping her the weekend Hurricane Helene blew through. When I told Aimee that trees has fallen on the trails, she came out with a chainsaw right away to start clearing paths. She offered to let us stay in an unoccupied shelter to get out of the rain, but we stuck it out. This is my second time camping here and it won't be the last.
Site 4 is excellent and site 6 and the sugar shack look like great places to stay, too I would definitely recommend someone stay here.
The nearby Country Crust Bakery and Highlands Nature Sanctuary are great to combine in a fun day while staying here, too.

Sugar Shack Cabin
I loved my stay at the Sugar Shack. It was rainy and cozy in the cabin w the wood burning stove, I read all weekend and wandered on the trails. It was perfect weather for the sauna too. The compost toilets were nice and well kept!

A true Dream
Yet another wonderful visit and time spent at Fruitdale farm - this time for Aimee’s first ever yoga flow and sound bath - ushering in the first day of autumn in the best, most relaxing and healing way. Aimee is always such a phenomenal host and so caring and generous. Her farm is a true dream and always makes for the most perfect getaway, solo or with the family! Farm stand full of awesome goodies for purchase, wonderful trails to explore, details all considered and brought together seamlessly. A close drive to some superb hiking trails as well as the beach and bird-watching.
Always recommend this spot to others and we will continue returning time and time again.

Kitty camping
Aimee’s land is a work of art. I have been a few years in a row and it keeps getting better every time. More amenities, nice trails, cute cabins and a wonderful sauna. This place is a great getaway and a wonderful backdrop to make memories year after year. We were hosted both evenings by a friendly and talkative orange cat with thumbs, so cute.
