Come stay at our little sustainable farmstead amid the beautiful rolling hills of southern Ohio! Our peaceful 20 acres has a good mix of woods, wild meadows and maintained cleared areas as well as a small pond, all of which can be explored via our nature trail. Enjoy the sounds of nature and an incredible night sky. Farm fresh eggs and fresh produce are available for purchase during the growing season and firewood is available all year round. There is also a wonderful sauna on the property that can be reserved. Great hiking, kayaking, biking, birding, fishing, swimming, and disc-golfing opportunities just a few miles away at Paint Creek State Park and the Highland Nature Sanctuary. Amish country is also just 15 minutes away with a great bakery, markets and greenhouses. This area is home to an impressive network of ancient earthworks including the world famous Serpent Mound. Our accommodations range from primitive tent-camping to "glamping" in one of our tiny off-grid cabins. The sites are spaced out for privacy and each site offers a private picnic table and fire pit. There are two shared privies/outhouses which have basic composting toilets. A grassy parking area is provided near the road, however, ALL SITES ARE WALK-IN ONLY. Greenfield (5 miles north) is the nearest town and has two grocery stores, restaurants, a bar, hardware, gas, etc. Bainbridge (7 miles south) has gas, hardware, a couple of restaurants, dollar store, amish businesses, etc.

Site 5 (woodland gully)
Love Fruitdale Farms!
Aimee has a lovely property and everything was maintained very well! We arrived to dry firewood already stacked at our site, so we were able to get a nice fire going right away. The hiking trails are clearly marked and cleared out, so we were able to get a good hike in. She has compost, trash, and recycling bins readily available, definitely a plus. The only downside was the campers at site 3, but that's unavoidable sometimes. Their loud (and often inappropriate, considering other campers had children around) conversations and music late into the night carried over the creek bed easily, but if that site is empty or has considerate campers, it will be super peaceful. Overall, we did have an amazing time and Aimee is a fantastic host!

Site 4 (juniper meadow)
Great little private site and very cute. Was a little disappointed that the little farmers stand was empty while we were there but that’s okay :) didn’t get to use the sauna because it was hot , as well. But the place was clean and we enjoyed our time regardless!

RECCOMMEND TO ANY AND EVERYONE!!
Well, why I got mixed up and accidentally stayed at site 5 ( a much tougher site to reach, especially in the dark) the whole campground was incredible!!! The charm of it all. The gardens, pond, chicken coops, bee hives...I mean I could go on and on...instead, I will say if you are into authentic camping FRUITDALE FARMS IS the PLACE TO GO!!

Sugar Shack Cabin
My husband and I visited Fruitdale Farm for the second time. This time was to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Even though there was rain, we had an amazing time sitting on the perfect porch listening to the rain hit the roof. The trails were great for a peaceful adventure through the trees. The site felt private, like our own little cabin in the woods. Thank you for sharing your inspiring spot. We look forward to our next visit. Blessings! 💕
