A beautiful area on one of the oldest Scout Camps in the United States, Camp Craig is nestled in a gorgeous stand of eastern hardwood forest with all of the 'peaceful in the woods' feel PLUS the convenience of being located inside the beltloop of interstate 275. This site is perfect as a springboard to adventure in Cincinnati and northern Kentucky. We're also an ideal overnighter stop on your way to adventure elsewhere. Please note that tobacco/vape products, alcohol, and illicit substances are all prohibited on our properties. This campsite is one of many on a 500-acre Scout Camp. Other groups may be using different areas of camp.
A spacious gravel parking lot can accommodate any vehicle, then you have a short walk through the gate to the Grand Canyon campsite. Please call the number on the gate to check-in. Pull-carts are available by the gate to help you transport your gear. Wheelchair access available upon request (number is posted on the gate). One of the picnic tables at this site is also wheelchair accessible. This campsite includes use of a small shelter (several picnic tables), established fire ring with benches, and a potable water spigot. A pit-style latrine is available at the entrance to the campsite.
We thank our guests for remembering that alcohol, tobacco/vapes, fireworks, firearms, and pets are prohibited on all Scouting properties.
